Dated for November 11th, 2014 release on only PS3 and 360. It is in fact a disc-version, and it’s only $40.00 (already pre-ordered mine at GameStop).
Looks like just a brawler, I’m not feeling any serious FGC-Top Fav vibes at all, but it looks like fun and it appears to include a lot of fan-favorite characters. Probably my favorite things about this is what looks to be air-combos, interactable stages, and the digivolving is pretty cool.
The only thing I would hope for is being able to digivolve mid-combo, and then continue it.
I just tried this game with a friend a few weeks ago. And just half an hour after I started playing the game, I pulled off an infinite on him with Gatomon.
It was hilarious.
I believe it was Light, Light, Light, Heavy with a delay somewhere. I just don’t remember if it was before of after the Heavy. Of course, the infinite was possible because my friend spent all his meter teleporting out of combos. That should teach him.
