Well, I haven’t posted but I’ve learned so much random crap about Jill and how to optimize her DHC glitch to the fullest. Currently, my Jill DHC BNB is
xxx, :d::d::s:, :h::uf::h::s: land, :d:+:h:, +:h: (wait till they get pretty damn low to the floor) :h: :uf:
:h: (the first 3 hits are done pretty damn fast and then a pause for the :s: land :h:
+:h: Raven Spike.
This builds like a bar and a quarter and keeps the ground bounce option open. Furthermore, I believe this combo is actually the highest damage you can get before you start the glitch. IIRC I think its around 421K or so before the super and 550K+ after. Execution is a bit funky because of some weird timings, but the combo doesn’t really change very much against the cast except for Morrigan where it feels like the initial flash kick needs to be followed up at an unholy speed.
@IzzyInfamous: Your Tron combo is more or less the same one I use except my initial Jill combo maintains Tron’s ground bounce for lulz double drilling the opponent for another free bar of meter. Anyways, you mentioned that you were using an outside assist to keep the otg combo going, and I think this is something I didn’t realize for quite sometime… Jill is still usable as an assist after the DHC glitch so, you can save your self some training mode frustration and learn the DHC glitch combos between Jill + DHC character.

Also, does anyone else mess with Mas an anti-air? I think it’s AWESOME since you can do m,B+hand hit confirm that into about whatever combo you can do. Or feral cancel into a flip kick into another feral cancel and then mixup. They can’t beat the flip kick that low to the ground since it has invincibility. I only got like 2 combos from this but it seems like good tech. Maybe only because it’s early on though…

I guess it’s still too early for anyone to have done anything impressive with Jill’s level 3.
I honestly has YET to mess with it outside of that mission combo Got any ideas? I can try and bring em to life if you want. I’m not seeing a real need for it at the moment unless she’s the last one left and you need those mixup shenanigans + x-factor.

Luigi I like what you’ve been coming up with. As a viewtiful Joe players this looks really impressive. But in terms of her standing M. Do you have issues with its angle of attack? What directions can the opponent come from that will cause her standing M to miss?
Thanks man! Well it SEEMS like Jill’s M can hit all the way to the base of her leg but you want to do it at as close to max rane as possible for best priority. Kind of think of it as a lite version of Storms HK in MvC2 where she would sometimes just dash up and do it because it was so good!
Thank you so much for this. I’ve been trying to figure out a Jill combo to Raven Spike using DanteB and no bounces. This is greatness!
For anyone else using this combo with Dante’s otg assist I have tips: Slow down the 2nd air chain to the max then when you land if you’re out side of the corner you’ll need to dash to get Dante in range and you’ve got to compensate for his sluggish start up; the answer: press 3 buttons all at the same time to make Jill dash and call Dante.
luigi I might just replace chris with joe due to seeing those videos. After I get some practice in I will have to see. I love using under used characters and I already have chris on another team so I wanted to avoid having him on two teams.
I TOTALLY replaced Chris for Joe. I never cared for him but his assist is so good to Jill. THen I learned Joe can do the same and I actually like joe. And on the DL Joe is gonna come up bigtime in this game I think. His hard as #@%* to see overhead leads to almost 700k alone! And he has loops that allow him to re-slow you, Joe is beast!
Between jills mix up and joes overhead this team is actually really hard to block. Chris was too slow on jills air throw to get a mine off so its great to be able to do something more than DP L afterwards. I have to admit I never would have looked at joe as a potential character. Ill have to figure out some joe combos ive literally only played him once when I clicked random.
also LEED. I have been messing around with level 3.You can keep the loop from her mission 10 going for much longer and then ult into raven spike instead of machine gun. You just have to do the input faster. (which can be tricky since a single wrong direction is a dash.)

Aside from anti-air M I’ve also been messing with dash in mas range H into b+h into whatever you confirm off of that. HELLA easy to do 600k if this lands and any combo you do should build a meter for DHC glitch. I just gotta learn how to move with Jill more and learn Joe and Dante more but I really think this team could be beastly! I don’t feel too confident because I’m so used to having Sent drones to cover my rushes. But I’m thinking just play footsies with Jill’s awesome pokes and wavedashing. all of her ground options give you the needed time to hitconfirm into a combo or feral cancel to make yourself safe so maybe I should roll with that approach. Frametrap these hoes!
Adding onto the jill+joe combos:
jill part= c.mh, b+h, FC h, j.hs (delay as much as you can), land hs, sj.mmhs, land, dash+joe bomb, dp+l, FC h, dp+2atks, DHC into godhand on last hit
joe part= h, dp+m, air h, dj.h, qcb+m, airdash h, qcb+m, qcb+h, land s, sj up h, dj up h, tj up h, qcb+l
Meter free as long as you start with 1 bar. Does a bit over 1mil no xfactor. If you have an extra meter you can do six cannon at the end for 1.2mil+. Only tested on hulk so far so you might need to only use s instead of hs after the delay j.hs so you don’t overshoot the air combo for jill on smaller chars. Worked midscreen and corner.
I been playing Jill for my RE team. My tricks are basic stuff that ppl already know tho probably.
I found it odd that her Arrow kick can be canceled to standing moves tho but Arrow kick to super(QCF super) can make it safe is certain situations. Arrow Kick to feral is a can work sometimes as a gap closer. Also can be used for baiting to. Useful after normal throw too.
Her umm vertical dive kick,(S) version has high ass priority which is good to use.
d.M is pretty good, goes under some standing attacks. Low to the ground and can be use to positioning yourself further and can be canceled to super like what all normals haha. Also can be used while they are jumping since dash leaves you higher.
My team goes by Wesker, Jill, Chris. Mad beast combos are pretty tough. I thought the super was useless initially.
But can be to confused the opponent quite well especially if you got an assist to help you out. Kinda like a lesser DPH but costing 3 meters.

Sorry about the poor picture quality and the window glare. Anyways, pretty easy combo to land. I’ve actually pulled off more damage by doing more crap with X-23 before using the Silent Kill but, meh, it does enough damage like this and less chance of messing up. I don’t really read combo threads or such so if someone else has already posted this, then I apologize for reposting. 5 meters, oh lawd… dood.
