Hmm so you can still do the raw tag off a bolo quick work huh. I thought there would be too much hitstun but didnt try it.
HSD won’t effect if your raw tag will hit them it will only effect if your connecting normals will work and since vergil can do pretty much whatever because of his.
Well no… since vergil needs to use his M to connect after the raw tag not his cr.H, so there cant be too much.
And it seems that deadpool raw tags are character specific? Couldn’t get it to work on dormmamu or nemesis. Is there a workabout for this?
I mean because vergil already has so much hit stun on his normals a lot of what you can do works as long as it’s not super late.
You have to change what Teleport you do or what QW.
Some characters from p1 side of QW will require TP H instead of TP L
This rawtag isn’t too character specific, haven’t found anyone but like RR it doesn’t work the same on. cr.M always has enough stun after cr.LMH S j.H bolo quick work rawtag, just enough stun. Works off a maximum stun of fullscreen gunshots, teleport, 3 crouching jabs, MH launch, still works, above that and you’re in sketchy territory, but this is insanely consistent.
Haven’t tested Dormammu or Nemmy, though. Gmme a second, Nemesis falls faster so that might be interesting.
Tested. My rawtag thingy doesn’t work on Nemesis…on Dormammu there’s no problems at all, though.
So I just finally put in the work and did a lot of odd hitboxes, and here’s what I got. Anyone bold it does not work on.
cr.L(optional more L’s)cr.MH S j.H Bolo, Quick Work H teleport original side, Vergil Rawtag cr.MH launch, stuff.
Nemesis-doesn’t connect cr.M after rawtag

RR-Vergil Rawtag whiffs, teleporting to the opposite side before the rawtag However, M teleport, rawtagging Vergil and st.M followup is working, for some strange reason.

Arthur-he’s one of those dudes where the cr.H whiffs in the sequence, do extra cr.L’s to get the confirm, cr.M Launch and it works the same.
Modok-same as Arthur, don’t use cr.H on the original ground series and the combo works fine.
Joe-Works just fine, you’d be surprised but the cr.H from Deadpool works fine too.
Ammy-the cr.M from Vergil after the rawtag doesn’t work, nothing to do about that one.
Zero-Same as RR, the Vergil rawtag whiffs. Tried other teleports before rawtag, unlike Rocket Raccoon, doesn’t work.

Hope someone was helped by this. Deadpool/Vergil crouching series rawtags are really convenient.
Raw tags are great in general if you can get them it’s just a pain to learn the hitboxes but really the ones that matter are all higher health characters.

I was really impressed with how consistent you can hit s.H after quickwork. I usually get chimichangas after that.
Some stuff I wanted to share with you guys. I’ve shown Wedge this stuff and he enjoyed them so i wanna pass this on to more Deadpool/Strider players. Also this Deadpool Vs. Nova tech i’m working on.
I’ve done this with the Cr.LMH into L.QW successfully but not consistently. I’d love some help making this viable against team nemo
This is my favorite incoming with Deadpool/Strider it works after Cuttin Time. Its pretty dirty you can teleport wherever you choose, you can dash under after the teleport, and you can also use guns instead of QW to fake the side switch
I like this bodyhop incoming i think you can add a ninjagift to add another side switch to make it dirtier.
I got some more stuff i’m working on so i’ll share those once i’m done with the kinks. Hope you enjoy these for now.
Something for my Deadpool/Dante/Strider players out there.
The optimal stuff yo. Maximizing this teams damage potential. You can dash back S after Million Carats into guns for more damage but i find it hard to connect on heavier characters so this is more practical.

=O So much goodness to use! Gonna spend some time in the lab to learn about this. The only thing I already knew about was that last video of the combo, though I do it differently. Great stuff, though.

Cool beans. =D I’m so hyped to start using this stuff. I practiced the “Cuttin’ Time, raw tag into Dante, Dante/Strider” mixup for a bit, and a challenge I’m having is getting the other variations of the mixup. Assuming I’m doing the mixup on the P1 side, I’ll call Strider, box dash, teleport, and they always appear on the P1 side, and I’m always appearing behind them. I can’t do the “they stay on the P2 side” or the “They appear on the P1 side, but I teleport back into the corner, not behind them” variations for some reason. X_X
Yea i still have a bit of trouble with it myself, might have to teleport earlier i guess. I kinda got lucky when recording and got all 3 of them one after the other lol
