Me personally, I felt like my practice actually payed off for the first time in a LOOONG time so I’m fired up for more practice sessions/local tourneys until the next regionals.
Anyone else feel that way, or are you all cooling off on games for a while?
I’m hoping that people realize how much fun attending a well-organized tourney is in the spirit of competition…hopefully Seattle can host something soon since I caught the tourney bug for the first time in a long while.
For me it made me wan to preform even better. Watching all the players better than me, made me very excited. Watching people prove themselves repeatedly was also awesome. I can’t wait for another big tourney. It should be exciting.
I felt like a fool for not practicing because it seems like even a half hour or hour of practice would have significantly helped. But once I realized that, I just became UNmotivated to practice even more. It’s like the worse I get, the less I want to get better.
Although, of course, I will be at the next tournament playing AND taking pictures, even if I am worse than I am now.
Had I practiced more, I may have had the reaction and timing needed to beat someone like Zass, not get raped in KOFXI, and placed in Marvel. I seek revenge. So yes, big tourneys keep these games fresh and actually make me want to improve.
I’m kinda burned out on fighters. I’ve been playing Dreamfall: The Longest Journey since I got back. I was gonna play SWAT 4, but I just wanted something really casual, I realised.
You need to get more hype instead of forfeiting mikado matches like a buster. Do you think BILLY MITCHELL FORFEITED WHEN HE BECAME DONKEY KONG WORLD CHAMPION IN 1986??? I don’t think so.
