Don’t mean to create a useless topic, but I’m just wondering if anyone else who preordered in person has any problems getting their TE sticks from Gamestop. I preordered mine like early january.
They told me it shipped out on the 10th, but it hasn’t arrived yet, or it was supposed to be in the box but it wasn’t… The other gamestop in my city got their shipment a few days ago. Seems like everyone who ordered theirs in person got theirs already.
I’m still waiting for mine.
Didn’t get mine yet. They said I would get it, but I’m not holding my breath. I’ve said my peace about it already in the massive thread, but I won’t repeat it here since my aggression and nerves have calmed since then. Think it was Friday 13th that really had my blood pumping. But I preordered on 12/23, and I have not received mine yet either so you aren’t the only one.
Waiting patiently for mine. I haven’t been told that it ISN’T coming, so I’m cautiously optimistic. When I first heard about these I saw they were supposed to release with the game so the whole early thing I think is just a fluke. Anyways, I spoke with someone at my GS that I pre-ordered from on Friday. This is the first person all week that sounded like they knew what the eff I was talking about. He asked did I order the fightpad or the collector’s stick. I told him collector’s, to which he replied that that should be arriving within the next couple of days. He said Monday most likely, so I’ll be picking mine up on Tuesday with the game. At least that’s the plan. I think everyone that found themselves sitting on a brick after it was announced that these were to begin arriving early needs to just take a deep breath and see what happens. I honestly feel better about my chances of getting what I pre-ordered on time, rather than if I had pre-ordered online. There’s a big stink surrounding Amazon’s and Capcom’s alottment of internet orders. Not to mention shipping errors with GS’s online orders.

Greetings! I’m new to the boards, so take what I say with a grain if you must. As of Friday night (2/13) Gamestop told me to tell my customers that if you have not yet recieved your fight stick (SE or TE), you should get it within the first week of March. Now, it may seem like Gamestop has dropped the ball on this one, but I assure you all retailers aside Gamestop that took reserves, will not recieve any fight sticks til that time as well.
I pre-ordered 2 SE sticks and was only able to get 1 of them Thursday. They shipped in pairs, but I had to sacrifice my second one to give to the 1 other customer that reserved it. If you are new to fight sticks, I would just stay with the madcatz hardware standard. But if you are use to sanwa or seimitsu, I would definitely upgrade! wishes for his pushbuttons and stick to appear
Anyways, I apologize if I’m a bearer of bad news. I figured you all would like some closure for your current situation Gamestop is not the most reliable, but hey… it’s a job that pays my mortgage!

I’m just wondering why one gamestop in my city got theirs but the one I ordered from hasn’t. They told me it’s in transit, so it’s been shipped right?
The guy told me today, they were supposed to have gotten 3 a few days ago but when they opened the box, there was none (there were only one SE stick, not the TE stick). I was able to pick up an SE stick that they had for retail that wasn’t on preorder, but I haven’t picked up the TE stick that I did have on preorder.
I was told to come in the 11th. Nothing. Was told in store to expect them in the next day. Gave them a call. “When SF4 drops,” they said. Was at the mall today for a book I needed to get and decided to swing by the Gamestop and pay off the rest of my stick. Was told “first week of March” at that point. Kinda sucks as I heard one of the GS locations in Berkeley, CA got in their TE sticks. Oh well. Waited this long for SF4, so what’s another two weeks or so?

They’re telling me that my TE stick will be in when the game is available…I don’t believe them. What is the problem here? Did Madcatz overestimate their production numbers and promise too many sticks? Did Gamestop just give out pre-orders without really knowing what was coming? I’m just really pissed that I’m not going to have a stick to play on when sf4 comes out. If I knew this BS was going to happen I would have gotten something else.
The people at my local gamestop are fucking noobs. They’ve been calling me everyday, telling me that my stick is in, and the 3 times that I went in there, it was the SE stick and not the TE. Fuck gamestop.
My TE came in Friday the 13th at my gamestop. and I fucking love it.
Ditto! I haven’t had much time to play with it yet, but it arrived cosmetically perfect. From the basic testing I have done, I have ascertained that all the buttons and stick are functioning great. I love it, and think it is well worth every penny I spent!
Yeah I’m having similar problems. I recieved a call from ‘Ashley’ saying that it was available, but every time I go into the store (its on the way home so I stop by pretty much daily) they tell me they don’t have it. I haven’t been given an ETA on its arrival yet either. This is in Brighton MA, for those that are interested.
I think it depends on your region. I know all of my local shops got their sticks on thursday and friday. There were no preorders for the TE sticks, so I really can’t comment on that. The SE sticks all came in tho and all preorders were met. I checked emails again today and saw no update. If you preordered online, you more then likely will have to wait til March. Pending on the item, most items do NOT require a down payment to reserve online. If you go into the store and put money down on it, thats a different story. They may be prioritizing as well. In-store before Online. Most retailers are having a hell of a time trying to get a str8 answer from any offical. One of my employee’s is also getting shafted from Amazon.com, when he preordered his last Sept.

Haven’t gotten mine yet. Was originally told it was the 11th (but possibly before then), then a few days after…and now probably on SFIV’s release day. If and when (which i would take a guess it’s most likely when) they tell me to check back the first week of march i’ll be canceling my pre-order and going with a custom.

My store kept saying the 18th. I haven’t called them recently after the whole “delayed to March” fiasco, so I don’t know if it will be out on the 18th or not over here.
