Right now Iām using a Barbarian and I think Iām gonna focus on warcry abilities and Axe mastery. Iām also thinking about levelling the Find Potion skill a bit, and I plan to max out the Find Item skill. I donāt have the Find Item skill yet, but can you find any kind of item, including uniques?

Item Find is great once your Barb is set up (nigma, etc).
Blizz sorc is standard starter, then you can go light sorc or hammerdin. Barbs are great but require mass high runes. Infinity LF zon and LS sin still own for pit runs. For hardcore, max ce summoners are even better now, especially with 8 player count.
WW Barb is now better and still god tier in pvp and hyb necs are buffed thanks to nova buff.
Important thing to note, no more iron maiden from OKs, meaning feel free to go with melee builds. CB/OW/LT = win.

I actually did a Blizz sorc years ago, I think Iām looking to do a paladin of some sort.

Idle āSRKā Channel sounds good to me. Im still rushing through Act2 with my Bliz Sorc. If yall are leveling or rushing through, im down to join in the fun. Wanna just burn this char up to the 90s and then start on a real character.
Still thinking of going Hammerdin again, and then maybe something fun like a Bowazon or a CE Summonerā¦ That WAS my first char ever, afterallā¦ and it kicked major ass 
Rooks, you should play ladder hardcore instead of just regular hardcore. On ladder thereās a better drop rate of good items and there are unique items that can only drop on ladder, as well as ladder-only runewords that are extremely beast.
King, if you specced that way pre-patch youād have to reroll your character because heād be completely fucked up and terrible in Hell difficulty. Free respecs now, though. You should roll a hammerdin, because Barbās are very, very gear dependent. Usually what I do is roll a hammerdin to magic find all day in hell, with shit gear mind you, (spirit weapon runeword+spirit shield, shit gets you through hell with just these two items.) then once I start getting richer I deck out of my hammerdin with Enigma+good MF gear then roll a sick Barb afterwards. Last ladder I made the best barb Iāve ever made, which did 15,000 whirlwind damage and 18,000+ Berserk damage. All about that merc who gives me Concentration aura with Pride and Might aura on his own.
Yeah, you basically get a chance of an extra set of drops using the mobās entire loot table.
As others have said, I advise against them unless youāre making a pure farming (Act 5 Hell) or Trav running Goldbarb. Either of those can make insane, insane amounts of money (for gambling/crafting) and items very quickly.
I honestly think that a Goldbarb is a great starting character for a new ladder, particularly now that Lem runes should be easier to come by. I might roll them.
Im playing Non-Hardcore Ladder. I was asking if Hardcore-Ladder did better drops than regular Ladder, which I was told Noā¦ so Im just playing Ladder on USEast.

If youāre interested in amassing wealth, and going from nothing to lots of amazing shit, donāt make a barb first.
barbs are good, but the item requirements to make them so kind of sucks. Also, you canāt reliably MF with them better than sorcs unless you have considerable gear already.
My suggestion would be to start off with a sorceress. I forgot the build they use these days, But I heard itās like Frozen orb and meteor.
Iād check up on a good build for them. But they are the least gear dependent of all the classes, and they can still MF like a bawss. Of course once you get up there in levels, you might have to do some trading / nightmare runs for a while.
Pro-Tip: with 8 people in your game, items drops increase significantly. If you are confident that your sorceress is badass enough to take on whatever it is you are MFing in an 8 person game, a good way to MF is make open public games and name them things āFree if Wait 001ā etc, then go to act 1 and dump off all the unique/set/rare trash off the bosses you dont want. And trust me, You donāt want to keep a lot of the shit you are going to be finding.
Iāll drop by channel SRK now and then. Got a Summoning Necro, lvl 52 currently. Not much time to play but Iām loving this class. Not the best for MFing but I figure since I have absolutely nothing it was a good class (and thatās what Iāve read). Hope to see you guys around.
