Yeah you can choose the genders. The male/female counterparts are in the character artwork on the sides. I think one of the videos with the Wizard shows a guy casting the spells too.
In the video I last posted, you can see all three characters working together. Even though the focus is on the wizard, the witch dr. doesn’t seem broken at all… He fits in without taking away…
Man this game just keeps looking better and better in my opnion. I like all 3 classes so far but the witchdoctor might be my favorite so far because I played a Necro in D2. You guys think this game will require a very powerful rig to run at decent settings? From screenshots it looks like it will be pretty easy to run, but I’m not sure. Blizzard games usually run very good on older machines so I guess that applies to this and SC2.
To be honest, both SC2 and D3 already look dated 
By the time they both come on, i’m sure they both will work fine on low end computers.
After playing both D1 and D2, I feel that D1 was the better game in terms of atmosphere. The reviewers from diii.net said they felt this while testing the game. This is good. I’m having a hard time getting into DII, but maybe it’s because playing a necro is a little boring and not as involving.
I completely agree with you on the atmosphere thing. D2 was way too outdoorsy.
I’m hoping they don’t make DIII like they are making SCII… Splitting SCII into three games is beyond retarded and greedy to me. They are planning on selling the zerg, terran, and protoss campaigns as separate games! The first release will be the terrans.
Diablo 3 is gonna have 3 expansions. In each expansion you get an extra character class, new items and even a new act!
What…Blizzard is doing the same thing for this game as Starcraft 2?
It just seems that way, with how they’ve come out of nowhere with the Starcraft bullshit. For sure D3 will have at least 1 expansion, but I won’t be surprised if it has more.
I actually think this is all Activision’s doing. Is it just me or is Diablo 3 looking more and more like X-men Legends/Marvel: Ultimate Alliance? (which also happen to be Activision games)

The problem with splitting SCII into three parts is this:

People will become better with the Terrans since it’s the first campaign coming out.

More than likely each game will cost $59.

An expansion game seems less likely.

B-net will probably have an associated cost.

I’m complaining now because I don’t like change, but IF it’s a good game then I won’t mind. Just sucks that it had to come to this. Growing up, I couldn’t afford to pay for three games containing the same crap. I didn’t want to wait for sequels to SC 2 and D3 to be pay per play!!! I’m so steamed.
