Its just I’m so competitive and I hate losing. I know what my opponent is doing, is just sometimes I cant dont know how to stop it.
What is your current setup for recording by the way? I dont have a pc near my 360 so I will have to go with the amplifier and see how it goes.

Well, I answered my own question that I posted a page or so back. post noogie, crossup mk slide -> headbutt does work in hdr and still dizzies.
but i cant seem to get it on vega in hdr at all, either the slide misses or it doesnt crossup at all, whereas in vanilla st i used to get it for free. couldnt do it in classic mode either.
well since the patch will be out soon enough, ill start playing again. I hate the slight sim nerfs. 
Eggo you are the man. Your videos are great. I think there was another video I watched of yours and with the one thing I picked up made everything come together. There were some things I have been doing in the Dee Jay fight but not consistenly. Studying film and reading is making me seem nerdy. lol
Anyhow I will watch and watch and then put it to play. I can feel my Sim getting closer and closer. I guess now I’m trying to figure out how you would have played against DGV who was throwing max outs and mashing jab punch? In my head I can see closing the gap but I guess one thing at a time.
Hopefully I can get my recording setup going and share my videos as well. Thanks again and now onward to being one of the best Sims.

I posted 3 videos of me fighting DGV a few posts up. I never drilled at him, so the jab is not a factor, and you can outfireball his max outs.
I checked them out Eggo. I just have to be even more patient, and learn to use crouching jab and crouching strong more.

LOL. Your Dee Jay is really tight man. Every time I run into you, you remind me that I need to be more patient in that fight. Even when I try to mostly be patient and sneak an extra hit or two in, you punish me for it. Good stuff!
I get the missed slide a lot against Chun too. I was never that great at timing it in ST, so I always assumed it was just me. But now that you say this, it makes me wonder if there’s something about HDR that makes it harder to land it.
FWIW, you should already have that one. It was in that long list of combos I posted. Specifically, you can do any jumping punch and link with far MK when you land if you time it right. This includes both jump forward punches as well as jump straight up punches. Also any jumping kick can combo into ground far MK.

Other than wnkz, who is ranked #15, I don’t see any fellow Sim brothers up there. FifthnsomeBUD sometimes uses Sim, but not as a main. Where are the rest of you guys?

Have you guys encountered the glitch (post patch) where sim does a yoga blast and the flame appears behind his body? its happened to me twice already online…wish i could cap video. The hitbox seems to have moved too, guile was able to jump in on me when i did that, haha.
SweetJV: Yeah, I don’t know. HDR has so many weird quirks that I dunno what to think. BTW, do you have problems with normals facing the other direction? I just started to play this game post-patch since its quicker to find matches than in SF4 and that’s kinda annoying me. =/
How do I get to the Character specific leaderboards? that main street fighter site is so messed up for me.

I’ve never really cared for online ranked matches. They turn most people into a-holes and you have to deal with the frustration of people dropping, etc. It also amplifies my annoyance with laggy matches. But now that it’s fixed, who knows, maybe I’ll get bored some day and go on a Sim raping spree

Nope. I’ve seen a video of that, but I’ve never had it happen to me once pre or post-patch. Heh, maybe I just don’t use the up-flame enough.
I rarely get that with Sim, but with other characters yeah, it seems to happen a lot more than in ST. If I were to guess, I think it may be something with the net-code. I’d be a little surprised if it happened as much offline.
BTW Sabin, I just noticed you’re wnkz. I think I’ve seen you a few times and didn’t even know it was you.

So…how are you guys coping with nerfed super? i dont like that shit at all. sometimes even when i tag people antiair with this, cause of damage protection and the way they get juggled ive had it do like 5%. i can understand sirlin fixing the hitbox in its rear, but still. ome tim ei did it to a point blank vega user and he c. jabed me out of it and i died. =/
noogie range being nerfed is tough to deal with. i find myself doing a lot of fp throws instead (at least sirlin didnt change the startup on that :P). oh and i do find in a lot of weird situations, post noogie, they way some chars bounce off seems a little diff from reg st. example like, sometimes i grab chars with yoga noogie, theyre in the corner, i go up for meaty cround mk pressure after the throw, and ill be in the corner somehow :looney:
