Dhalsim Video Thread

Wow! Very nice Sim, man. Care to comment on the times you chose to focus?

From eventhubs. Around 1:15 is a realy neat trick that could be useful. After a blocked iat attempt, instead of continueing for a blockstring, just iat again.

I really liked this kinda inzane trick against a sagat… pretty good match by the dhalsim, but he take risks:

Look at 1:45

Talk about random wow.

PPN takes on The Beast:

see ppn do the plink throws? im pretty sure thats plinking b.lk - b.lp so if you dont tech throw you get back short
confirm?

@1:11 he uses perfect pokes pushing him back just enough to shoot fb and escape corner.
So well done.

Gus, you always post the hypest videos. Thanks man!

Looks like it to me. You can see at 1:08 he gets a trade when Daigo goes for a normal. Also, you may even be able to see him inputting. Nice catch.

Wait… not sure that’s possible…

yea been practicing it in training mode, think thats what all the jap and art do
its tough though

lk~lp or lp~lk?
Because I was trying lk~lp last night and I could tell by the way the inputs were reading that I was inputting correctly, but it came out as throw every time. Never lk.

lk-lp
see im not sure how to test in training mode or what the inputs are that you want…

can somoene confirm?

Me vs bubblan (FE) at the DreamHack Swedish SSFIV Championship: (I lose this match but win when we meet again in LB, but it seems that wasn’t recorded)

Me vs SkatanMilla (CH) grand finals:

My first time seeing PPN play that I recall… very stylish Dhalsim! Methodical, even. I’m gonna go through a bunch of his videos here at ‘work.’ Thanks for sharing, Gus!

lol. Really funny!
I envy your self control, you play really well, especially in the corner and under pressure.
Just a question: why don’t you dash back after that your IAT has being punished? It should be a good way to keep distance from Chun Li.

Because it’s not a free escape. Chun can punish the back dash with a standing roundhouse so sometimes it’s better to stay put.

Me vs Neasala (our resident champion in Norway), and after that a pretty good Chun player; http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/5447420/highlight/56055

Random teams 3vs3, had some tourney nerves as that was my second fight at that event. Let me know what you guys think, I did do some stupid shit from time to time, but it’s all in good fun

As the announcer says, I do hate the Chun matchup

great match! gratz sim and chun in finals? crazy
