I’m starting to make a series of short videos about Dhalsim, something a little more than just basics.
The first video of the series is about punishing moves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AkN4gaXUqc
Part 2 is about teleports and "safe jumps" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1NpA57h_9A
Part 3 (and final part for AE) is up!
This time covering some mixup options, including some I’ve never seem any other Dhalsim player doing (jb.MK crossups) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeaCftAeBXs
Let me know what you think

I guess I could, but there’s already awesome videos for begginers.
I’ll surelly do it for Ultra Street tho
And I’m really happy you guys enjoyed it!
I’ll also try to make the next videos “prettier” to watch, because I’m doing all the text in paintbrush lol and putting all those crappy powerpoint transitions seems like a poor wedding video
Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places but I can’t actually find many good beginner tutorials for Dhalsim. I know I’d definitely Like, Favorite, and Subscribe to anyone offering a selection of beginner videos for Dhalsim.
They can jump back, forward or neutral but U2 will catch all the jumps (unless of course they do something like a dive kick or ex.tatsu to stay in the air longer).
If you don’t have Ultra, you can b.MP against neutral jump. And you can try to j.HK against back jumps, if your teleport was high enough, or try a s.MK in the ground if the teleport was low. But it’s not guaranteed damage, because some jump attacks can beat s.MK.
Hello everyone. I cannot disagree with any part of this video. I cannot disagree with any of these tactics that are so advanced that some of them I have not seen before. But I “MUST” tell you all that their is an addition.
You see the IAT takes over 1 frame execution 1 ~ jumping distance or 1~4 if your doing it right so you automatically touch the ground.
Yet the regular ground teleport takes 0 frames execution.
IAT is 1~4 frames execution -1~3 on block. sometimes in practice mode i can even block a 3 frame jab if i do it perfectly. hard to get online
Yet the regular Ground Teleport is 0 frames to execute and was -10 but according to video is now -19 geez the nerf
What this means is some situations you MUST ground teleport because 0 frames means escaping impossible shit while 1~4 frames means no escape.
For example. Some characters can 3 frame grab you before you teleport but if you do a ground 0 frame teleport and they did not begin the grab to soon after your block stun your fine.
