Hello this is for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Starting 6-6-09 we will have casual game play for SFIV and Smash Bros Brawl every Saturday for the summer. Pending on the turn out for this, on the spot tourney’s might be in order :lovin:

  4. Important: If you are interested in going please contact me and let me know. This is to ensure that if a saturday for whatever reason has to be canceled then I can let you know and you won’t have to waste your time making the drive.

Well everything is kind of still in the air, so if there are any suggestions just let me know. Please bring your own controllers. Systems are on xbox.

Might come as a surprise but there is also an area called Fort Worth. Small little place near Dallas.

But no really the DFW is a big area, so for those interested we will be there on the weekends. Also for the brawl players.

also note: i don’t think anybody that posts in the dfw thread lives in dallas proper. most people live near arlington, some by plano.

DFW is a pretty big area, just making it more convent for those who don’t live in Dallas.

Any way, its looking like there is going to be 3 tv’s for brawl, and 3 tv’s for SFIV

No entry fee to play, and tourney’s are going to be last weekend of every month for both. More rules to come on that later.

Playing games at anime conventions is always irritating. Everyone’s always got to put in their pad and change their controls, then every match you win you’re informed how you’re “cheap” or “not playing right” or some such bullshit.

Last year I entered a tournament with 30 players, $5 a head, and there was only $40 total given out to first/second/third place.

damn that sucks. Yeah I have been going to akon the last 4 years now, and I decided to skip this years.

I always played melee every year and it was about the same results you had.

I have a wireless pad for xbox so I can see it being a pain in the ass.

Im not sure if it sent my message or not. I tried sending it once yesterday and twice today but it still says I have no sent mail?

So if you didn’t get it then yeah the more the better, especially for sfiv. Got to push the brawl people to one side :slight_smile:

Set ups are also on xbox, so not sure how that plays with you.
