Damn…disappointment.
There goes my hype for rage.

My torrent connect doesn’t even have Dexter up yet, but I was able to start downloading Breaking Bad at around 10:05. It’s like they just stopped giving a fuck.
Finale wasn’t bad as some said, it could’ve been ALOT worse. Despite that next to final scene being retarded, everything was mostly servicable. I don’t regret watching the series
shitty show and shitty ending
should have ended after trinity
LMAO WHY THO?
Dexter knows Harrison has actual relatives living that could have taken care of him and he could have grown up with his brother and sister right?
How did he possibly survive?
Why didnt he actually kill himself? That would have been so much more effective!
Why even Euthanize Deborah? Scratch that, why even have Deb survive the gunshot?
The show is about a mass murderer and the tension of the finale is whether his girlfriend is going to get caught for a bounty?!
Another possible better way they could have gone is have Dexter kill Saxon in plain sight and then give himself up, come clean about EVERYTHING, and get executed.
I thought they had a good thing going when they brought vogel in and revealed her as the creator of the code. She could have been his final nemesis or the one to expose him if they wrote it right.
The shitty way the series went now makes me want to read the books. At least I can imagine the true creator of the character coming up with a better follow up to where they left the books behind.
Seriously tho, it needs to be stated again how stupid that hurricane scene was. That shit was so illogical on so many levels
It wasn’t as bad because what we thought the finale was, wasn’t.
Former Dexter Producer Clyde Phillips Reveals How He Planned to End the Series
Gonna assume everyone has seen the ep by now.
Definitely not as bad as the spoilers were saying it was gonna be, but still filled with its fair share of stupid moments.
First half of the episode was the usual garbage: Hannah and Saxon can walk anywhere they want at all times and never get noticed except by other main characters. Remember those cops in front of Deb’s door? I guess they were on donut break. Deb goes from looking pretty good to brain dead in 10 minutes flat? I mean I guess it happens IRL, but that’s pretty shitty writing. Dex said “and some essentials” when he handed the bag to Hannah and then the camera paused on him for about 5 minutes, then he visibly winked to the camera and then said “you know, essentials,” so it was really a shocker when she got away from Elway on the bus. And apparently you can literally just walk into any hospital as long as the guy in front of you spits enough blood on the ground. Also palm trees at 30 degree angles = light breeze apparently? Also hurricanes basically look like tornadoes, but slightly bigger and over the water?
And why did we have to spend like 10 minutes building the fact that Dexter cares about Deb and Hannah? What have we been doing for the entire last season besides that?
Anyway then the second half happened, and it wasn’t that terrible.
DEX ACTUALLY KILLED A GUY, SO THAT’S COOL. Yeah it wasn’t perfect, like how would he be allowed to do the test because of conflicts of interest, but I, the biggest asshole, had fun watching that scene. It was like they actually started playing a little looser with the characters since they remembered it was the last episode, so maybe Dex would care a little less if he got caught, since he’s gonna go drive into a retarded CGI tornado in a second. And the scene with Quinn and Batista wasn’t terrible. Maybe Quinn knows, maybe not. Perfectly acceptable way to end that line. And yeah the killing Deb part in the room was pretty corny, and the effects on the hurricane scene were corny, but at least Michael C. Hall actually showed up that day, so that’s better than the rest of the season.
The ending premise of Hannah + Harrison in Argentina with Dex hiding in Oregon. Well, it’s definitely an ending most people wouldn’t guess, so I guess the writers can say “Haha, we’re so clever,” but there’s definitely more satisfying ways to end it. But the most important factor, can you continue the series if you wanna make more money is there, so that’s probably why it’s like that.
P.S. Give Jennifer Carpenter any award she wants for acting her ass off to brick walls all season.
Remember the end of the fucking series? Yet another landmark moment. So, did it end with Dexter’s secret out and him dead/on the run? No. Dex sailed his boat into a hurricane.
…And then he was the saddest lumberjack of them all.
Just… just think on that for a minute. If I came to you after season 4 and told you this is how the show ends, how many slaps would I get? Yet here we are. Lumberjack Dexter, fresh off his Brawny shoot.
So glad this shit is over now.
By the way, that pen was pretty powerful. I wished they had used it to write a sharper season.
WAIT WHAT HAPPENED TO MASUKA’S DAUGHTER THOUGH? IS SHE GONNA GO BACK TO TOPLESS WAITRESSING? DOES SHE STILL SMOKE THE STICKY ICKY? WILL SHE EVER PAY OFF HER DEBTS?
0/10 SHIT SEASON
I love that alternate ending. So dark and twisted, would’ve been a poetic death for Dexter. Hope they decide to film that and put it on DVD as an extra
I blame the way the show went on women, women started watching the show and then it turned into a fucking lifetime series where dexter wears a pink shirt all the time and has emotions and has to have a love interest every season. Every girl I know who watches it liked the last few seasons.
Dexter, the saddest lumberjack of them all, looooooooooool.
Other than the final 10 minutes, this was a decent episode. I’m not gonna miss this show, haha.
And let’s not forget him taking Deb off of life support and dumping her in the ocean. Yeah, let’s not have her die and get a good “line of duty” cop funeral. She deserves to be dumped in the same ocean where Dex has dumped countless killers.
The last 8 minutes of Granite State >>>>> This whole season.
…so Deb didn’t deserve a proper burial, say alongside Harry? Why turn her into shark bait?
I’ve been saying this since like season 2, she has been the best part of the series for me.
Finale gets 6/10
Watching Breaking Bad now…
Now that you guys bring it up… yeah… she deserved a cop funeral. The team at the station will never know what happened to her. That was selfish of him.
But that’s what happens when shitty writers are involved.
I watched Seasons 1-7 before 8 started. Now that its over, I feel empty… mainly cause it was so unsatisfying. But hey. atleast we’ll always have Harrison on a treadmill to think about.
yeah, that was pretty awful.
EDIT: like; this whole season and the finale was especially awful.
Yeh it’s pretty shitty of the writers to have Hannah “save” Dexter from his dark passenger, only to have him give up on them. He has lost everything now so his dark passenger will without a doubt return, which leaves it open for future halloween special or something.
Dexter the Movie made for straight to DVD.
Im calling it now.
