I like to imagine that everything in the previews is just dreamed of in the next episode, and they only shot that stuff in the next episode for the teaser to throw us off.
But it never is ;_;
Who did not smell that set-up a mile away? So this guy who viciously killed Dexter’s mother suddenly gets parole? Even if it were a mercy parole, there’d have to be doctors who ran tests to make sure he wasn’t full of shit. You can’t fake that. Whatever.
I don’t think Hannah poisoned Debs.

Doakes is dead, it’s probably just Dex’s imagination like his dad, he probably left a clue that would lead to Dexter before he died, no way is he still alive, that would be too unrealistic.

Me neither, Deb purposely overdosed but did it in a way that she knew only Dexter would find the clues that lead to Hannah.

Hannah never makes mistakes, if she really wanted Deb dead, she’d be dead by now
She also knew to use it as an excuse. Potential win-win. Either Deb dies thus she wins, or she lives and due to her track record, takes away a bit of her blame.
Hannah had no way of knowing Deb was on anti-depressants unless she broke in, and even then there’s doubt of that. She doesn’t seem like one to mess with a cop. Even if you disregard that, she has an untraceable poison yet uses the pills? Not her style. It leaves too big a clue for anyone to find. I can totally see Deb doing this, or the witness.
It could be anyone at this point honestly. It could be Deb as easily as it can be Hannah. Both scenarios leave enough vagueness and slight holes to leave reasonable doubt. We have to wait until next week to see how this shakes out.
Episode was good, I see a lapse in logic tho. Why would Dexter turn in Hannah (the chick that knows his dark secrets) instead of killing her? Only real flaw I saw in the episode. Maybe they’ll explain that later
I don’t know about that, Deb look like she was lying, she was doing her best to convince or at least get Dex doubting himself.
Let’s see…he still loves her for one. Debra needed the takedown for two. And most importantly, his murderous girlfriend dropping off the face of the Earth all of a sudden might as well just be a signal flare for Laguerta to try and take his ass.
I agree with your first two statements, but Is that last one any worse than Hannah snitching on Dexter? Hannah is a somewhat vindictive chick. A dead Hannah seems alot safer than having her alive. But then again, Dex is fucked either way as of now

Even if she is, it’s not 100% that either she’ll tell anyone, or that anyone would even believe her. If Hannah disappeared though, there would be no doubt from Laguerta (well, there isn’t now, but for completely different reasons).
This also reminds me, I hated Dexter’s gambit of trying to frame Doakes further. Now when the lie is found out (which it has somewhat), it leaves no doubt that he’s guilty. Instead of being vague and taking plausible deniability, he lied about Doakes having a boat. He sunk himself in too far with this one and it will cost him.
I dont think hannah had anything to do with debs accident. Flashback to hannah and debs conversation that night, deb already had the spiked bottle of water in hand, which would mean hannah had broken in before their conversation to desolve the pills. This lead me to think, what the purpose of hannah approaching deb was if she already had the mind set to kill her. What if she had convinced deb to a truce? Furthermore, why risk exposing yourself by approaching deb that night?
I feel strongly that Deb got the idea to frame hannah from her chat with dex about him framing doukes.
I predict that Hannah will take the fall for dex on the BHB with the assist of Deb.
I honestly think deb set herself up to make it look like hannah did it. Enough to make dexter lose his confidence in hannah anyway.
When are deb and dex going to fuck? hurry it up, next season is the last one!
