Best episode yet, it totally absorbed me, I was really shocked by those recorded screams, they actually made me shudder.
I had to press pause when we got the shot from the hidden camera to jump out of my seat. OMG OMG OMG!!! 
Only thing I didn’t like was the timing with Dexter/Lumen and Deb/Quinn. At first it felt like Deb was a few minutes behind them, then it felt like they were hours behind them, thus missing everything. It just confusing for me to the point that when the door opened revealing Dex and Lumen arriving home safely I was annoyed rather than relieved. And why didn’t Robo Cop follow them after seeing the video of lumen stabbing an imaginary person.
So this chick that was their first victim, I’m assuming that she has Stockholm syndrome and wasn’t a freak and allowed them to do those things to her.
Oh yeh, the love scene is excellently handled!

The 13th disc being ‘damaged’ was a push for me (you can salvage the data in that instance very easily), but I let it pass. This episode was too good otherwise. I’m surprised Harry didn’t show up at all, I would have certainly expected it this time around.
Raiden didnt need to show up… there was not ‘get prepared for mortal kombat’ moment…

Harry only shows up when Dexter needs him.

3.Looks like Santa Muerte is dropped completely, fuckin HUGE plothole and made Latina Cop a pretty much worthless character.
4.Did Jordan succeed? I guess not since he set them up to get caught at dudes house meanwhile they were Next door in the conveniently abandoned house.
5.Too much suspension of belief is required for this season. Im pretty close to getting fed up.

That would be a massive oversight by the writers <— (plural here) So I really doubt it. If anything, that open case will mesh with this somehow.
Yeah I was surprised when it didn’t happen. I guess he likes girls that want it. Good for him.
Because it was about revenge, sweet sweet revenge. But Dex was looking like he splooged in his pants when she went to work.
Naw, she said to Jordan that she told the truth about the horrific experience. It’s more like they (Jordan Chase most notably) treated her as some kind of tragic symbol of their “evolution” and she enjoys the title and their depraved form of ‘worship’. This is why she probably doesn’t pity the other victims because she thinks of herself as “special”. Eugene manipulated her well.

Did Dexter and Lumen take the DVD back after they played it? If not, if the police/Deb search the house they might find missing DVD # 13 and…crap.
I’d imagine he isn’t that stupid 
I mean, he moved the killroom away from the dude’s own house after you were lead to believe Dexter/Lumen were about to be barged in on by Homocide.
I agree that the Santa Muerta plot sort of fell by the wayside, but honestly, once they introduced this ring of rapists plot, I already forgot about the hispanic dudes. That old plotline was too typical of some cop drama show, so good riddance It seemed like a weak way to get Deb into the file room just to increase coverage on the case. -shrug- The writers have a couple more episodes to make it work, so we’ll see.
This whole season has been pretty good in my eyes, though had a tough act to follow with last season.

I still want Lumen dead (though I doubt it)… she’d proly escape or takes the fall and goes to jail instead of dex.

Julia Styles has redeemed herself over the past couple of weeks for me. I think she’s gotten better
I might be having a memory lapse or something here but how is the santa muerta thing a plot hole? They shot the dude dead right between the eyes.
I didnt care for this season much for the first few eps, but i have to say i’ve really come around. Without having seen the ending i’d rate it over season 3, and depending the last two eps, which have a good track record of being amazing, maybe even higher than season 2.
*With the exception of Doakes, there’s no topping that guy.

I really don’t think the writers forgot about Santa Muerte, after all , they’re the guys writing the goddamn thing.
However, right now it does look like nothing will come of it. There’s just so many plates to keep spinning this season, hard to imagine everything coming to a satisfying end.
This season had a slow start, but now I find myself on the edge of my seat every episode.
Jordan Chase is a phenomenal villain.
