I just played the Enslaved demo. NOW I’m worried about this new game lol. That camera jerkin all over the place just from you RUNNING. I understand the idea of making games more cinematic, but simply RUNNING from point A to point B doesn’t need to have a dynamic camera ALL of the time.
The “good” mission Dante has is the stage where Agnus is the boss.
Pretty much. The castle stage where you fight Dagon at the end is alright to. But that’s really it and really the Agnus Mission, Mission 19 is the only one that actually feels like a real Dante Missiopn and it’s also the only one where he gets his own unique location to traverse.
Ok, so end of the day for me, I wont buy this for full price.
If the critiques are in and it’s some fucking godsend that shakes the foundation of the Action Adventure genre then I’ll probably get it for full price. But more than likely it’ll be average so I’ll just get it for 20 or so bucks.
I have every iteration of DMC(even vanilla DMC3[got a PAL copy from a UK buddy, I can’t play it but fuck it I have one]), and like it or not this game is gonna be part of that, so I’ll get a copy for at least the novelty.
wow, you actually got hit by the easiest enemy of the game?!
I could fall asleep at the stick and still escape that thing even with SM.
You know, you don’t have to buy every game in a series if one or more of those games just aren’t your cup of tea.
On a totally unrelated note, I’m selling my copy of Halo Wars.
The Final Fantasy victory music is a bit much. Otherwise funny.
Dr. B contracted Naughty Dog to make the reboot game “DrB.” The deal fell through, because no earthly game developer could accurately recreated the sculpted greatness of B.
That is pretty fucking awesome.
Enslaved demo = not looking good for NT
REALLY clunky ass combat
Inafune is gonna run Capcom into the ground
It’s my mini OCD man.
Dr. B has a prescription for my problems, but it involves too much mL of journalistic excellence that no non-B could handle.
I played the demo it’s not as bad as most action games, it’s very messy but I like it. wouldn’t buy it like most 1 player action games but I thought it weren’t bad
My first time through yes cuz I wasn’t expecting it and had to adjust. After that no I didn’t but that doesn’t some how make that design choice ok. It’s an obnoxious enemy design. It’s no fun to fight and makes the mission a chore. Simple as that.
Because they’re fucking stupid.
Would they still be stupid if the game featured the usual Dante look?
Giving it to a company that sucks ass at action games makes them fucking stupid. The stupid looking Dante is just the icing on the failure cake.
Looks like NT is using the Unreal Engine for DmC:
PlayStation LifeStyle Unreal Engine To Power Devil May Cry Reboot
I don’t know how they’re going to pull this off. A DMC game running at 30fps is scary.
How utterly lazy.
Wow, a 43 page thread about a game that’s not coming out for what? another 2 years? Impressive Snake!
^You want to know something funnier? There’s a chance, that those that bitch about the game now, will turn a complete 180 when they play it. It might not happen, but…the idea that it might is just funny.
Ninja Theory made Heavenly Sword, which was an OK game for the most part.
…and this Dante just looks like a junkie. I don’t care about character designs much so long as the gameplay is fine.
you suck, man.
How could you not know what the enemy was capable of? they even showed you the monster before you even came close to it. Plus, it “moves” really slow. I’ve even had enough time to hit it the first time I saw it come up. “the armor angels” are one thing but THAT?!
you probably should stay away from these type of games.
so you dumb asses still gonna wait for gameplay footage?
…Heavenly Sword is OK?
Wow.
