Iwent looking to see how to do the infinite glide glitch so I can do it in the demo.

Lol there’s so many way to do it, they’ll find it again.
n472a’s way is how I do it. It’s so easy. Really glitches out some areas, and some in-game cutscenes have a motionless Dante fly off into the background while the cutscene is going on. Can also skip the whole fun house spinning cog segment because it’s so cool.
I was using the charge shot method. Couldn’t get the angel whip, rebellion or wall way at all.
<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Don’t do the Angel Whip too early in your jump. There are times where n472a messes up because you do it low to the ground and he waits for too long. Once you’re near the end of the jump, pretty much hold ANGEL and…well…plink Lift~Glide with your thumb, all one smooth motion.
Yeah i was trying that for like 10-20 minutes? Looking around I think double jump has to be off for that to work.
That sounds fucking hilarious.
Nah, I have double jump on and it works just fine. Maybe the timing is just natural to me? Dunno.

A good example of the fly off is in Mission 2 where the mansion first transforms. Just INFINITE GLIDE through the door before you trigger the cutscene. When it’s over, though, you’re flying in a black abyss.

Elbow May Blader… TWO…
Stop.
I would really ove to see what does capcom/NT have to say about the game performing so badly, we already know what the media thinks, but i want to hear what kind of BS those 2 would come with
BTW, someone should tweet to Tameem asking if he is going to play MGR just for the lulz

He said he would be checking it out after Kamiya went wall of tweets because people were bitching about DmC to him.
Capcom and NT aren’t going to take any responsibility for their actions. Are you kidding me? Remember how SFxT did so poorly and they blamed it on “over saturation”? lol.

I agree that they should leave in the fly glitch. Speed runs of this game would be pretty damn funny. Amnesia: The Dark Descent, anyone?
There was “some” over saturation but lets be real, that DLC fiasco is what made SFxT do poorly. Capcom did take responsibility somewhat for it at EVO so we’ll see with the next game they put out if they won’t have on-disc DLC.
Regardless if there was any over saturation, a good game will sell well regardless (at least when it comes to FGs). SFxT was a pretty sad excuse for a game on release. DLC controversy was didn’t help either.
If you told someone in 2009 (or 1999) that Capcom was going to make Street Fighter vs. Tekken, they’d be hyped as fuck. And then if you then showed them how the game turned out, they wouldn’t believe you. There’s no way a game with so much potential looks and plays so badly.

We’ve just all been acclimated to how disappointing the game turned out, same with DmC I suppose. If you showed the final 2013 game to someone who just finished DMC4 in 2008, they wouldn’t believe that Capcom released such mediocre garbage instead of DMC5.
I think saying Mediocre Garbage is a little too harsh. Sure, the combat has it’s problems and the older games feel more rewarding, but there’s fun to be had in it. Save for the bosses and times when I’d instant SSS and be all “…I did nothing to earn this…”, there wasn’t really any points in the game where I was very upset. Would I like a DMC5? Oh hell yes, yes please. But I wouldn’t be all that mad at a DmC2. I’ll tell you one thing, it’d be really annoying watching the press collectively going “nanananna~Told ya so!”. But I guess I’d have to just tune them out like I did the press for this game.

This, of course, assumes that a DmC2 would fix the problems with the combat.

A few minutes off.

The glitch is one of, if not the best, things about DmC. If I knew how fun it would have been to use before the game came out, I might have bought the game day 1.
