Just Played the Enslaved demo and plays a lot like Heavenly Sword, I can beat any enemy with just Square, Square, Triangle.(Weak, Weak, Strong Attack, reminds me of God of War) No juggles, no Combo’s just random easy enemies. This shit is the same as Heavenly Sword but with Robots in it, I really don’t want to play a Game that has an emo dante (That looks like pretty ricky) also fighting what looks like robots. I see this being bionic commando all over again.
P.S - I did like the visuals of the game but not the game play for enslaved.

at first I defended this because I figured Capcom has enough respect for its franchises to babysit Ninja Theory and make sure they don’t screw up the gameplay or have it completely lack any of the light-heartedness of the good games in the series and be totally grimdark
then I remembered that Capcom only has a tiny amount of respect for its franchases, and only as long as the original creators of said franchises are still working for them - they removed the credits from the Wii port of Okami after Clover was closed down and the same people went out to form Platinum games after all.
also I realized that this probably won’t be a massive loss for them - even Shadow the Hedgehog sold really well despite the disdain of fans and reviewers, and I can easily see them pulling this strategy:
-let Ninja Theory release a horrible, rushed and cheaply made game
-game fails, fans are disappointed, random clueless buyers get it anyway
-fans notice that it sold anyway, become even more spiteful
-suddenly Capcom makes a very, very lazy and rushed rehash of DMC3/4 with little to nothing new that would have normally sold badly
-they advertise it as “the return of the REAL CLASSIC DANTE”, maybe with some ads and promotional pictures of Dante blowing teenage DmC Dante’s head off or something
-everyone buys it as a result
but if anything, I guess like the music in the trailer.
waaaay too soon for a 4 rehash. If anything 1 and 2 would get a rehash and possibly 3. But Capcom’s lazy. I don’t expect a HD upgrade anytime soon.
BC just had a crappy Rad Spencer redesign. I thought the gameplay was pretty fun & original at times, considering the only blueprint they had to build upon was a single NES game.
Oh I wasn’t even thinking of a straight up remake, just a semi-“new” game that introduces less new things than all the other entries in the series and is very lazy
I guess a 1 remake would work even better. 2, god no.
