Lol DAT ENDING. What a fucking joke. That was no better than any of the other DMC games. In fact, it’s worse since all it did was recycle the same story as previous games with the only difference being that Dante fights demon media instead of just demons.
Shakespearean writing indeed. Ninja Theory excellent writers, guys. I was moved to tears.
I love how abrupt everything was. Dante and Vergil go from being bros in arms into OMFG LET’S FIGHT in about a minute. Ends with typical “you are you” line I’ve seen thousands of times in anime.
Was it this forum that was talking about how dodges have more i frames than a roll canceled yoga flame . It looked like he went through a bunch of swords easily.
i find it funny how much flac Sega gets, understandably the sonic fans are mad because the games, for little while were disappointing because they were good poorly executed ideas.
Sega aside from my blue and black hedgehog friends, make good EVERYTHING ELSE.
of course they dodged bankruptcy they made this
There is a really good idea, they could make happen that some people at platinum were interested in, but i suppose they would have to save that for another time. i hope they act on it, they could fill some voids
alot that ending was , meh
but that’s what ninja theory is
meh
besides kung fu chaos, that was good, and written like DmC is now
I’m not convinced that Sega believes the way out of their financial hole is making great games, building strong brands, and making money by selling games, as opposed to some sort of corporate shuffling or cost reduction. I don’t know, maybe they’re right. Seeing how quickly VF5:FS fizzled out in NA they might’ve been right not to bring over the other revisions, and maybe they’re not in any position to do a game justice. Platinum doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to work with them again, though.
I admit I’m a bit biased since I liked Okinawa and I played Yakuza 2 the week before playing 3. I don’t think Yakuza 4 had more depth than Yakuza 3 during any specific point of the game, but had more variety along the accumulated length of it. I still wish I had access to everything at any time during the game, and manual character switching during the campaign. The game didn’t have much of a sense of progression, you’re just playing the first 4 hours of a Yakuza game 4 times. Still, I’m super curious what playing Haruka in 5 is like.
SEGA didn’t make Miku at all. It was developed by Crypton Future Media, which uses Yamaha’s voice synth program as a base. All SEGA did was make some games with Miku in them.
Sometime in the story, I guess. It’s fucking weird since the redesigned him to NOT have white hair in the first place. Now he does. And it looks weird as fuck.
actually sega owns of her digital property, and have owned since near her creation
but the context of my comment was more of a joke than anything , and i am sorry for that
