But I don’t CARE what they plan on doing for the sequel or what they MIGHT end up building upon.
Why can’t they do this NOW? Bayonetta didn’t need a sequel to have an in depth combat so why the hell does DmC?
And what do you mean by low entry point? Devil may cry 3 and Bayonetta clearly show that you can have an in depth system combo system and still have a billion people play your game hardcore or casual. DmC really has no excuse.
Like
WHY IS THERE TWO FUCKING DODGE BUTTONS!?
hell dmc4 is even better with the battle system than 3, it looks fantastic and it runs at 60 fps, the only issue its short and the levels repeat
DmC has no excuse, dmc4 came out at the beginning of this console cycle
and to answer your dodge button question , because there is no lock on so you cannot orient your dodge around anything
Yes, because apparently it’s necessary to read 141 pages of people going around and around, whining about the same bullshit they have been since the game was announced. Obviously.
Have you never used a joystick before?
LOL’D SO FUCKING HARD AT “knows the ‘truth’ about the game”. OH MY GOD. MY SIDES. I CANNOT STOP GIGGLING.
Really, no, really. Just stop.
And really, people who keep bringing up the 30 vs 60 fps thing obviously have no idea how games actually work. Can I just point out that Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2 is completely playable, ranging between 12 and 20 fps at most points?
The PS2 version of Colossus looked like shit when in motion and the boss battles felt unnecessarily slow unless you had a TV with progressive scan. Most people didn’t have one when it was released.
The HD version fixes the framerate problems completely, and it looks and plays much, much better. Its the definitive way to appreciate the game.
Why even argue that framerate isn’t a concern? There’s a reason why people desire 60fps over the normal 30fps; because it looks and feels so much better, even if the graphics and textures aren’t as good.
That why almost every movie ever is recorded at 30 fps?
EDIT: And the first few senences don’t even deserve a real response.
EDIT2: People desire 60 fps over 30 fps because they’re misled into thinking the difference actually matters in terms of gameplay.
EDIT3: By the way, the HD version of SoTC runs at 30 fps. gj.
Movies and games are two different things. A lot of people prefer 30 fps over 60 fps because it makes their movies look like soap operas.
60 fps does make a difference in games. To say it doesn’t is quite foolish. It is only accepted as the norm on consoles because it is technically difficult to achieve on them while retaining good visuals. Ask yourself why a PC version of DmC would look better than it does on consoles.
Also, I never claimed that the HD version of Colossus runs at 60 fps. I only said that the problems were fixed.
Ninja Gaiden doesn’t use nor need lock on because of dynamic camera angles. You would have your face fucked in by the other enemies because they are EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE.
