Considering only thing I’m doing is being fair to the game, its no need to be douchebag with the comments.
I do.
Most of the criticisms towards Capcom’s exploitation and dilution of the brand, tarnishing the legacy of the originals, wanting to have their cake and eat it too in regards to the fans, and total inability to admit fault are going to be true regardless of how bad the game turns out. It’s not a worthy successor to the series, and after Capcom repeatedly reassures everyone that it knows better than they do about what Devil May Cry is supposed to be, I don’t think it’s fair to judge the game on its individual merits.
In any case, they’ve made a ton of questionable mechanical choices, and not just because those choices are different from previous DMCs, because even the stuff they kept the same isn’t necessarily going to work. But maybe what the OG DMC loyalists think doesn’t really matter, I’m more interested in what this supposedly massive “casual Western doritos killstreaks DLC dudebro” market thinks about Capcom’s perception of their preferences, not just dedicated forum trolls.
First Street fighter, then Marvel, then Resident Evil and now DMC.
Capcom is on a roll . Next Stop, DarkStalkers and Megaman.
Marvel has always sucked though.
I’ll give you DMC just cause I can understand the mindset but c’mon son, Capcom didn’t botch up SF, Marvel, or Resident Evil. But I don’t wanna derail the thread for that lengthy discussion.
Notice how sexy this game looks in motion.
60 FPS feels like 60 FPS.
Probably because I don’t follow a hivemind when it comes to games. I rather experience the game and base my opinion on it.
True, but no styles or anything hurts a lot. It’s also a glaring problem in terms of depth when you have enemies that can only be killed with certain enemies. And you do not have LOCK ON mechanics. Even if Nero was really fucking basic on the surface, he still had a lot of depth to master due to the just frame system on his sword attacks.
SF4, MC3, and ORC/RE6 are all downgrades from their previous installments by leaps and bounds.
ORC yeah no question but RE6? nope. I’ve alway said that storyline dictated the gameplay of where the series was headed after RE4. I don’t feel RE6 downgraded. RE5 did. RE6 fixed the problems people had with RE5.
MvC3/UMvC3 was pretty much Tatsunoko vs. Capcom part 2. So its a different direction and I didn’t mind it.
SF4 i’m conflicted on cause I like what they did but at the same time I feel in there need to broaden appeal for casual players(which worked), it dumbed the game down in certain areas.
Holy crap.
That was hilarious!
Oh man how did I not notice he said that.
Is hilarious to see all the amount of crap that Shogunz like to throw from the anus on his face

$74?!!! Deeezammmnnn.
It’s actually CHEAPER to buy the DLC than to become a Power Up rewards customer. GGs No wonder people call them GheyStop.
Its called having an objective opinion about the games they put out. If I had the “Crapcom” glasses on as you put it, I would be lauding these games as the best thing since sliced bread and saying they had zero problems.
So again, just because I’m not jumping on the “Fuck Capcom” bandwagon, doesn’t mean I’m not being critical of them.
