Have you tried running a driver cleaner? I had a freezing/crashing issue at one point that was only solved after running one. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
I’ve tried everything but that. I’ll give it a shot. So far I can’t even get the game to successfully boot.
Hopefully that gets you up and running. Do you have details on your PC specs/components?
I haven’t had a single issue running it on my PC, for the record.

It seems like some of Dante’s missions are pretty damn stingy with the s ranks.
Funny you say that. I was struggling with S rank using Nero and blowing the game up with Dante.

I’m usually hanging between S and SSS in combat, not getting hit much, and I still end up with the A rank. I have been mostly sticking to 2 melees and 2 guns- feels more like 3 that way and is easier to keep track of things. Maybe using the hat would bump things up?

I honestly haven’t really been struggling to get S Ranks with anyone. I S Ranked over half the game on my first run, and SoS is looking to follow the pattern. Maybe DMD will give me a run for S Rank money? I dunno.
I kinda feel they removed too many factors and variables so getting the ranks isn’t very difficult.
Oh I bodied that first difficulty. Was talking about DMD myself. Lol

It is weird that several other people also thought he referenced it.
I listened to the whole OST today while driving. Didn’t hear it either and was surprised that so many people referenced that it was there. Outside of the remixes to Devil Trigger (in particular the Tropical Mix), one of my favorite tracks in “Voltaic Black Knight”.
Sidenote, anyone that has Google Play Music, the OST is available there as well.
Anyone know what’s going on with that Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat mobile game that’s supposed to be coming out?
Got Merced in the prologue and man ohh man this game was worth the wait. No issues running the game so far on a 1070. Hope the issues let you get back into the fight!

Am I the only one annoyed at how many times the game has to go through the loading screen between missions?
Nope. That’s probably the game’s one universal complaint.

I’m running the game on a SSD so I’m not noticing the load times
