You got the deluxe version? You get more then just the color pallets then.
Nah man just standard. After seeing the Summer line-up for Switch and PS4, I thought I’d save the dough. The standard edition should still get you the 5 alternate colors, 1 for each character minus V, if you pre-order.
My GCU is still good until 2020 so I go with BB. Last time I went was when RE2 came out and they were sold out by 1pm in my area, so I’m just pre-ordering to make sure it’s there on release day. Someone else asked about RE2 at the time and was in disbelief, haha.

Oh I didn’t realize you got the colors for pre-ordering. Might have to do that then since i do really like Lady’s alternate pallet. I hate everyone elses tho lol.

Still would’ve preferred the weapons myself, haha, but it’s all good. Didn’t even know the colors were a bonus until I saw it at the checkout screen.
I like Lady’s the most but Nero’s is a super close second. Trish’s is coo’, but not sure what to make of Dante or Nico. Nico’s technically fits but looks bleh, and Dante’s is just…weird and off.
I pre-purchased my copy on green man. Gotta get that 20% discount.

Saw more attacks with Cavaliere in Void mode. I’m guessing this was from Gamescom or something? It was at reddit and the comments were funny as hell.

I’ve heard dumbshit like that in real life too. I remember one of the OG members here telling me “When you shoot something with a gun it’s supposed to die” I just laughed at him for wanting a game to be ‘realistic’.
For some reason I just dont seem to care much about the weapons. The Buster is kinda cool, pasta breaker is whatever I’m fine with how the Breakers work currently, and the other one heals or something? I don’t even remember.
Dante’s is like…the Same as another weapon with one alt move and some property changes? Eh.
I actually dislike Neros color change the most lol. Its too much of one bright color, and since I hate that he wears this crappy sweater full of holes and they are more noticeable in the while color it annoyed me more lol.
I get that Trish’s is a reference to Gloria from 4 but it looks awful imo.
Nicos is pretty hot now that I look again. I dig that one.
Dante looks like some else completely in his…yuck.

I like the Buster because it looks awesomely hilarious and you get the MM slide when you pull of a close dodge. I wonder if that only happens if you have Table Hopper? It’s in the trailer for Buster Cannon. There’s another version of Gerbera as well. I wonder if it’s just different colors?
Sweet Surrender is the one that heals and the Past Breaker, I don’t know. I can deal with these two.
Colors: I like the bright :shrug: Plus the color scheme is sorta 80’s which is something that’s funny to me. I remember when MvC3 was out and people in our FGC were complaining about Dante saying “It’s like getting hit with 80’s guitar solo, wtf?!?!” So for me it’s fitting, haha.

I know it sounds silly, but I am almost tempted to go Deluxe for that reason.

Knowing that you get the costume bonuses just for pre-ordering is enough to do so. Since the Deluxe is $10 more for a game I am pretty confident in spending a ridiculous number of hours with, I am OK with that. I basically bought a Wii U for Bayonetta 2.

I am pretty confident it will be, RE2 Remakes was up day 1, and DMCVs is already listed and priced on the steam store.

If it’s only 1.99, I’ll just grab the three tracks for DMC3. That’s the only music from the games that I ever truly remembered.

Even though I enjoyed the first game (and was wildly uninspired by the second), the third is what really made me a fan of the franchise. DMC3 may be the first game that had me at the trailer.

Deluxe is definitely the way to go with this. The content is outlined and I know I’m gonna get hours out of this unlike some mystery season pass BS where you put your faith in the devs.

I went for the standard edition. I didn’t feel the extra weapons and music is worth the premium. If Subhuman is still ass I might tempted to buy the music.
I’m using my AMD voucher (props to Hawkingbird) to get DMC5 standard edition on the PC…so I’ll have to peace meal the DLC.
If I do get it on console…gonna wait until it goes on bargain sale.
