so for this GH tourney is it going to be played in expert of wat?
GHIII:
No, you may NOT bring your own guitars (eliminating guitar swaping and batteries dying, etc) and we will supply two wired, Explorer guitars for everyone to use.
The tournament will be run on Medium to allow for more competition and we will up the difficulty/change the song to eliminate ties, etc. The semi-finals will start out on a different song than the regular brackets as well just to mix it up.
The songs, of course, will not be announced until the brackets start so practice up :tup:

Cool that… The casual play alone is enough to come and hang out. I just got off the phone with another group of Colorado and New Mexico players that are coming - it is going to be a hopping place.

hey i just gave this some thought and are u sure it should be on medium?
shouldnt it aleast be on hard? on medium u dont even use the orange fret. IMO i dont think a person is tournament ready if they cant atleast play on hard, but thats just me
i spoke my friend about this and he said it would be boring to play medium because it would be too easy and yes this guy can beat that damn dragonforce on expert

I really have no problem with that… I am alll about a consensus as to what level we should put it on; this is not my game. We will gather all the GH3 players together when it is time to roll the tourney and see what the group thinks - the only peeps we care about input is the ones that show up after all… We want it to be fun for everyone annnnd competitive to be sure.
