You can FADC it(unless this is a 2012 change?), hp tk is like 7 or 8 frame startup I believe.

Uhm they removed her ability to FADC HP knuckle? Cause that was something she always could do.

EDIT: Okay, I forgot she still has burn kick, but she no longer can just spend 1 bar to avoid a throw and do a chunk of our life.

I’m so impatient lol. I want to see the final buffs already. Anyone have any idea when they will show the next 2012 changes?

Sometime this week I think(they said something like see you next week in the blog). I forgot which day they showed it on last time.

It was September 30th…that was Friday last week so I expect it to be Friday this week as well.

I’d be surprised if they gave final buffs as opposed to just figuring out who gets to keep what from the two rounds of buffs. I would like more buffs, but I’m fully anticipating being disappointed.

I too have a feeling this is all we get. Tatsu? They won’t fix it. They WANT this weakness in Gouken. Their fix was increasing Super to 3 frame, that is it, we won’t get more.

Kongo? I have a feeling that is it, too. They want that move to be an after thought because they keep becoming too scared that the instant it is good it will be overwhelming over powered. Even though in my belief, a full body one would still be just “decent” rather then over power. Because other character already have full body one like Juri, Fei long and Camry, and none of them are more then just an afterthought even though our character needs it to survives.

At most I think we will get a command forward for the MUCH needed cl.s.mk. However, if we get that I would considers our character complete. At least we can punish just about everything now like every other character can, verse no punish, at all.

Still, regardless of what else we can get, with a cancelable st.mp, 3 frame super, and improved Denjin, returns of super’s lp.palm. I think Gouken is about as complete as it will get. I have a feeling DF will get some improvement, but I’m not sure what they will do.

I don’t think it is a huge deal even if we get dive kick overhead. I mean, what are you going to do after he blocks it? Same thing as before. They will instinctively block low after, and even if they don’t, we don’t have any huge combo to start from a low hit beside a sweep. And unlike palm, you can’t really whiffs it on purpose, there are no high low mix up.

The best it will do is make a few charge character lose charge. Even with the overhead dive kick, it is still way worst then the palm /dive kick options Akuma have after their nerf.

That’s because their fullbody counters all come with downsides, big ones at that. For Fei and cammy it’s the ultra freeze, a counter that announces itself like that is crazy. I hope round 2 fixes that fr them, that they startup and don’t start their little speeches till hit. For Juri her downsides are that one, she does no damage and 2 she needs EX to have one that works vs meaties. All her normal counters have 3f startup and can have her hit out of them. That’s a trade off I wouldn’t like on my counter. Like her we need meter for that one godlike counter and she doesn’t even get guaranteed damamge off of it. We don’t have it that bad counterwise.

pointless how? its no different from plinking any other attack, it allows you to hit the attack on 2 consecutive frames. double tapping gives you the attack on the first and 3rd frame most/all of the time so its not more viable, it’s actually harder and less accurate. i dont know why you’re arguing with me, i was just telling you something you didn’t know.

Dudley has problems on his as well. Takes the damage, can’t counter low, and also safejumpable.

My point is that, our Kongo are just about as good, if not worst then all the other character with similar moves, but unlike the other character that have it, they all have much better reversal then Gouken. They all have “Get the fuck off me” move. Unlike Gouken.

OH divekick forces them to stand to block and that can be thrown easily or swept. If they don’t stand, they take full punish. It is a mix up all by itself. You train them to block high and then grab or sweep until they block low, then max punish. OH divekick is sick!

That’s not news to anyone that plays Gouken here.

You can still throw crouchers, it’s just tighter. Sweep is good for nothing unless they do something about the recovery.

I’d still rather have other buffs before that, and I’m not even talking about the ones I have been championing.

Yeah throwing crouchers is still possible but much more difficult. I doubt they’ll give back the OH Dive Kick though. If they don’t, they could at least increase size of the DF grabs hitbox.
