Looks like they don’t want Gouken to hit confirm from jabs, probably because Capcom is afraid of jab confirms -> EX Palm -> HP Palm or dash Tatsu damage and all the whiners that come with it.

taking away the full screen f palm after juggling an opponent with hadouken interesting, i guess , yeah it is worth it to get super lpalm back! i get at least 1 or 2 of these a fight, oh well…it will be interesting to use the new denjin as well./

I feel like we didn’t get much.

We got improved ultra
improved lp palm
improved stun on kongo
improved cr hp

everything else I consider fixes. Indirect damage nerf to our combos because of MP palm being new HP palm.

Yes indeed… The rotating during the ultra anime start up is determine the travel speed of fireball… I suppose the faster you rotate, you can have the fireball travel 2 times faster than what it is now (maximum). So basically the speed is slow, fast, fastest…

Nothing to do with charge…
Charge is more concern on damage…
And Charge is pressing the buttons… Nothing to do with joystick

The changes made means that Ono and the dev team heard our cry and chose the best changes to make based on the overall balance of the game. Either way…not all the changes are known. And they would NEVER nerf his damage. Gouken = Damage. That has been the design choice since Vanilla.

lol are they significant? Do they cripple Gouken? No? Then that is why I say prove me wrong. Granted…YES I did say prove me wrong about them nerfing Gouken’s damage. But truly…I meant the DAMAGE aspect of his gameplay lol.

I’m curious to see just how much of an increase the Kongo trigger boxes received. Any buff is sure to be an improvement over what we currently have. I hope Raunwynn is right: where a FADC mid-screen Kongo or FADC regular Senkuu allows a juggle with his sped-up Denjin. I wonder if the increased active frames on his crouching Fierce improves its anti-air function.

Truth be told, I was hoping everyone else received nerfs rather than Gouken getting improvements. But this doesn’t sound bad so far.

You’re still hoping for the Tatsu buff so it hits all crouchers, right? :wink:

Edit 2: I guess the Senkuu adjustments means it’s now possible to perform a mid-screen Kongo-> FADC Strong Senkuu?

Hopes for new AE LP palm to be amazing

HP Palm…I almost never used this move unless I faced an Akuma who loved to spam the 3-hit Fireball. Besides that, Mp Palm served me very well when it came to calling normal projectile attacks. Plus, with the changes made over time…Gman still has the ability to cause a reset to STUN easily. I said haters gonna hate because there will be trolls who won’t stop bitching until Gouken is the status of his Boss version (which is super dumb IMO). Since you did respond with research and logic…I apologize for kinda categorizing you as a “hater” lol. You aren’t a troll. Suckas bitching this far in the game need to take their mouths off the tit of saltiness and man the fuck up.

I really hope is viable as a wakeup option as well…
