Heh thx bro but comments like that will get you no love here. My shit is viewed but never commented on constructively, yet I know people take from it will what they want and not thank me to opening their eyes. For some in this forum Im no more than the sweep spamming gflippin recluse who never plays any real comp and cant make it in the real world of , well whatever the fuck THEIR real world of SF4 is cause they havent seen me vs pros.

For others Im unorthodox to random with my own effective gameplay, who has opened their eyes to new things and for others Ive been down since day 1 and am a forum homey of sorts…go figure…

I’ll admit Im trying to imporve my techniques in patience and execution, which I know will help me @ hi level play which I’m looking forward to in the VERY near future. I’ve played merely based on hard-knock>cross-up>mix-up>gambits/baits since vanilla.

I’ve also made a point to play only to win now on ranked, whereas before ranked or endless I will play the same way.

Looking forward to many more games/training/sparring sessions w/ ya dark and any other Gouken on XBL as always!

Don’t take the game and what people think of your gouken too seriously mate, for you to feel all of that stuff you posted I think you are too heavily invested in thIs crap

I would love to see a 2 hit fireball at half charge, and maybe a stun buff at full. I doubt Gouken will ever get a 3 hit fireball… think of the damage an 3 hit EX fb could do on dizzy Sagat!

Super is now a traditional DP, and far MP is special cancellable now. Wow.

Denjin’s takes less joystick spins to full charge now too.

so gouken can punish everything now but only with full super. he’s pretty meter dependant but thats a good buff.

st.mp being special canclellable is great, but is it enough to stop rushdown?

3F super will stop rushdowns dead cold. And fs.MP cancels will net you some sweet meter gain.

But yeah:
Every time you get into a tech throw situation–another chance to super?
Better chances to CH with fs.HP/HK.

Whelp, my stint of maining Oni is done.

Like, seriously, the s.MP cancel buff excites me so much. I always, always thought this normal was really solid. On top of that, it got a hitstun buff!

cl.HK active frames buff gives us even better crossup defense. And s.HP’s active frames increase is welcome, considering that normal is awesome as well.

Man…they are giving Gouken the treatment!

If this change sticks, then a decent amount of his matchups are going to change once he has a super charge. (think chun with her super shutting down fireballs)

The main downside is that this means he could be even more meter dependent.

yeah its time to learn what 3f can punish vs ibuki guy etc. also cr.lpx3 > super works too. i just hpoe his normal buffs have an actual impact on gameplay because without super i fear he’ll still be boned, and still low tier

i hope eventhubs is right and its far hk because close st.hk is pretty limited

i dont see why they’d buff it, its a move with hardly any aplication. the far hk interests me more, how do you know to trust gregaman?

I like the mp cancel buff. New combo: dive kick, close mp, close mp, far mp, mp palm. Sick!
two close mp won’t work on all characters but but still cool.
