Got a second leg weapon. Too bad it’s a sniper rifle and I hate sniping in pop in this game.
Also, all my legs came from blue engrams. Any legendary Engrams I found gave me blue items.
The Devil Walker event is the only guaranteed event. It happens twice a hour between 00:10 - 00:15 and again between 00:40 - 00:45. It can be late. The latest its been for me was 3 minutes.
Latest patch with some significant changes including:
Loot Caves Nerfed with longer respawn timers
Hard Wipes(The enitre team dying in a darkness zone) now lowers your engram drop rate. This basically kills mission farming, like you would do on the moon.
Queens Wrath Items no longer give Ascendent Materials when dismantled.

After reading their Dev notes, it’s not so bad.
They said they want to reward successful completion of missions. Basically, they want to nerf the loot cave, but buff rewards and “reward celebration”.
Quote from their Dev Notes- “Expect changes soon which decrease the efficiency of cave farming and correspondingly increase engram drops from completing activities.”
They also said to expect changes to the Cryptarch.
They also discuss changes to strikes, weapons and weapon classes.

Most the changes are against exploitative farming really. Agreed.
Yeah you can still farm the Hive on the moon. I only used that ave for weapon parts and easy glimmer.
Nobody would have to do that if they didn’t make shit so random in the first place.
Yeah I just figured out this morning that queens items drop shards. When I go home in farming the shit out those. I only need one more defense upgrade to hit 28

I get random rewards for God only knows what, in multiplayer.
Cryptarch only sells white and the occasional green items, and he’s level 4 for me now
Blue engrams reward better than purple, in my opinion
people wouldn’t be farming loot caves, if it wasn’t for the fact u can get more farming them for 30 mins, then you would doing an hour of multiplayer (which can reward you with NOTHING)
It’s already patched. No more shards. Queen Kill Orders are now pointless, unless you’re really hurting for legendary armor.

With the nerf at the Queen event, the best thing you can do there now is to get the Legendary Weapons and the Legendary Space Ship.
I still want that Auto Rifle she’s selling. Or I could grind up to 150 Crucible marks for a new one from Dead Orbit.
yea, sorry to tell you this but that actually doesnt change. my crptarch is level 12 or 13 right now and he doesnt sell anything blue.
ive been insanely lucky this last day. i got a legendary pulse rifle, a legendary shotgun from part of the vault of glass, an exotic weapon bounty (shotgun), and i just levelled up the vanguard to rank 3 and guess what i got? legendary shotgun. lol
i dont know what the fuck im gonna do with them all. guess i could have 1 for the other 2 classes (which dont exist yet) and i guess the exotic shotgun is gonna take me a while. getting the 25/1 K/D ratio is gonna be impossible for me to do unless i cheat and get a fireteam of 6 people who agree not to kill me.

The glitch is something to look forward to because its practically the only way to get decent gear in this game. It takes so long to get rep levels, and then the mark cap slows it down even more.
Also queen gear is hilarious. I’ve gotten the sane helmet 8 times, and the same chest 4 times. The loot system practically ruins the game. There are never any rewards for anything. That pr-release team that were the first to beat vault of glass? Only two people got an end game reward. Can you imagine that? You spent 16 hours on a hard as fuck raid and you don’t get any equipment to show for it
I always found the ‘Stop making me do that’ argument a strange thing. I also felt the sting of misfire Crypto rewards, and also the slow burn of Destiny grinding. Never once did I partake in a busted spawn cave. In fact last night my Fireteam partner was doing it during a Patrol and I sat at the cave entrance in protest. He got the idea and we went on our way.
