Nah, they do… You just have to be standing in a certain position. If you’re directly in front of the cave, they won’t spawn. Everyone has to be slightly off to the sides.
Last time I tried, I couldn’t get them to spawn, but there was a lot of people around, maybe that affected the spawns. Maybe I’ll try later, but these bounties have me busy at the moment.
If anyone was standing even remotely close to the spot then they just don’t spawn. I’ve seen dudes sit up on the hill above the cave for as long as half an hour just to troll people trying to farm. Sometimes you can’t even tell anyone’s there unless you walk up there and look.
It was working earlier today for me, so I assume someone was just nearby that you might not have seen.
i definitely think they should increase limit on vanguard and crucible points you can earn each week. ive managed to max out crucible points 2 weeks in a row now and i dont even play that much. makes me feel like theres no point playing it if im not getting something half decent.
Yeah and with prices of certain gear, you have to wait two weeks to make decent money. I’d raise the cap to 150.
Have the cap increase as your reputation increases, 10 per level perhaps
increasing to 150 would be a good start for sure, then you could afford to get one decent piece of gear each week.
just getting random blues/greens/occasional rare coin/mote of light isnt really doing it for me. just feels like wasted time.
Yeah Im getting kind of tired leveling my gear and then waiting for Ascendant shards to fall into my lap. I’m tired of killing Phogoth. I’m tired of doing strikes with underleveled assholes. I’m tired of having no people to do high level shit with because Bungie wants that shit to be all high and mighty with “Nuh uh no matchmaking! If you want to do this raid or nightfall strike you have to put it together yourself!”. Like fucking really dude. I’m tired of never being able to get a different shader. I’ve gotten Achilles and Gilgamesh about 6 times each off of crucible. I’m tired of getting green gloves off of a purple drop. I’m tired of this god damn game right now. That Queen’s Wrath better hit this upcoming week, and it had better bring a shit ton of content. If I run out of things to do in it in 2 days then I’m probably gonna off this game. I fear that will be indicative of the quality of future content.
Also, they need to foster clan organization IN THE GAME. People aren’t gonna link their account to Bnet like they think. I mean… I would, but most would not. How GTA Online did gangs should be looked at.
But when I think of where this game could potentially go, it can only go up from here. Gonna do a blog where I talk about this in detail. Stuff like being able to start a Strike from Patrol, because why not. Minimizing the need to go back to orbit will be a theme of my piece. Also space dogfights.
You have to go to orbit. Loading screens are the only time you use that ship that cost you 3 grand.
I finally clawed my way to level 27 brought the exotic rocket launcher and as I buy it a few moment later I get a fucking exotic bounty for the shot gun people were busy. So I had to solo

Best thing for dealing with Phogoth is immediately ignoring him. Wipe out all mobs in the room and once they are all dead, have the whole squad land as many crits on him as possible before he breaks chains. He breaks out once you take like 3% off his bar.
I’ve seen people(StreamerHouse, to be specific) stay outside the room and just unload on him from there, while taking out the occasional Wizards and Knights that decide to come through the door.
True but retreating from floaty, nigh invulnerable anti-camping douche every few seconds when he teleports above and behind you when you use that method does get kind of irritating.
I mean its a safe method but by god does it become slow and boring.
Yeah I just beat the Weekly Nightfall Strike on Phogoth and you have to use the Pussy wait and hide plan or you get buttfucked and have to start over from the start. Got an exotic helmet for a Hunter, I am a Warlock.

Also that streamer did it that way because he was solo. It doesnt have to be that ridiculously tedious. I’m surprised he didnt spawn the instant death spire of doom in the room whenever he passed through to shoot Phogoth.
He fucked up and spawned it a few times from what I’ve seen… When it happened, he backed off until it was safe. What he was actually doing was bringing Phogoth’s health really low then inviting viewers in so they could get the rewards. He said it was actually easier for him to do it alone, which is why he went about it that way.
Something fucked up happened on stream once, though… While he was sending out invites to subscribers/donors, two viewers on his Friend List joined the game, finished the mission, and stole the loot.
if they don’t add space dogfights to this game, I will be very disappointed.
