As soon as I max out my Striker Titan, I’m rolling Defender and never looking back. Using “Death From Above” with lag present is no bueno. I’ve been shot out of the animation of Fist Of Havoc WAY too many times. I forgot to mention that this was WITH having “Unstoppable” on which makes you “Harder to kill” while using FoH -_-
My favorite encounter with fist of havoc was playing control last night on a Venus map. This guy jumped to us, did it too early and fell right of the map because he flew straight down lol

That’s crazy. I guess I better keep some of my other weapons around for this kinda thing. Phogot is a straight up BITCH too. His whole damn face is a shotgun, but can he hit? No. Only TenTen from the anime Naruto has it worse than him. If he didn’t have help around, he would be SO raped by anyone with some dodgeball skills. Gonna have to try the raid missions if they’re handing out gear like that though. I guess the poor aliens will continue to have close encounters with my fist.

I started a hunter the other day, too. Super low level, I just don’t have the time to powerlevel her. But I have already found sick gear for her, and she’ll probably go straight to 25+ when I get to level 20 lol
so i was thinking. a good way for them to fix stuff like the loot cave without banning people or taking away dem gainz is to just make lvl 29+ enemies start spawning to replace the lvl 5 one shot things after so many of them die in the same location on the same server in X amount of time
make them auto drop blues or whatever as an added bonus
that way you can still scoop your gear, but it would make you get away from the 10 guys standing at the cave for an hour. if you manage to kill them, then loot away
Yes, putting level 29 guys in a level 5 quest area sounds like the perfect plan
Oh, I think they decided to do SOMETHING to that area.
I don’t remember if there was a door there before, but now in that area, there’s what looks like a rusty door in the wall not far past that slab that sticks out of the ground. If you’re familiar with the farming trick, then you pretty much know “That” slab is like the point where everybody stands behind so that the cave will spawn properly. Well, if you’re there with a group of people who are…well, let’s say Shooting into a cave for a long period of time…
…at some point, those doors will open. :wow: at that point, the doors become a warp zone to an alien clown car, complete with a never-ending herd of hive and fallen. If that’s not enough, apparently there are MORE aliens who will pop up out of NOWHERE…and proceed to wipe their dirty, scaly, smelly, greasy alien feet all up in yo’ ass!!!
Shit IS funny though, in a,“HAHA!! THAT’S WHAT YOU GET!!” kinda way.

Also, while I agree that gear should not be shared/sold between players, things like colors and ships should be ‘gift-able’ to your buddies.
That cave shouldn’t even be a spawn point tbh. For now…I’m using it to level up. If I can get my final character leveled up with the loot cave before it’s patched or whatever I don’t care what they do. I like playing this game “the right way” but I really just don’t feel like re-grinding to 20 a third time when the real grind doesn’t come until after 20 in the first place.

Also I’m pretty much at the end of my rope with this game. I have a two exotics, am level27, and all I have to look forward too are the Nightfall Strike and the Raid. Even then Im not really excited about doing it because the RNG in this game is fucking retarded. I’ll probably get no gear from the Raid at the end of it. Only thing that’s really keeping me around is pubstomping the fuck out of Crucible.

Not sure what happened, but I managed to fix it. I’m guessing those aliens were still upset at me and decided to troll my posts. To me, that means I gotta go back in there and shoot the hell out of more of them.

If 1000 of those zombie things die in the same location in the span of an hour, there probably aren’t proper level 5 guys there doing quests anyway.
Not that I have a problem with the cave. But I’d like to see a creative fix if they decide to do something, instead of bans or resets. People would just find a new spot anyways.
Also that bitch Xur leaves at 2am pst and not 9am pst like I read everywhere.

They already nerfed the loot cave. Thralls don’t spawn in there anymore, just two Acolytes. The Thralls will only spawn when you see the message “The enemy has decided to move against each other”, which triggers massive enemy waves of increasing difficulty.
Bungie is only banning crucible boosters from what I heard. Seems silly to ban people who farm in an RPG.
