SO fucking true. I’m waiting till this afternoon to get a videoclip of what should be purest carnage being laid into that rock. Should make for a few chuckles if nothing else. BTW, sorry I missed your invite earlier. I had walked away from the machine and didn’t even see it until another person sent me a message.
Yeah I totally forget about that. When you piss off Bungie they lockdown HARD. There was a guy who accidentally downloaded an internal build of Halo 3 before it launched from XBL (it was in online storage for MS employees to acquire), Bungie caught wind of it and had MS ban the guy until December 31st, 9999. Hit this motherfucker with a 8000 year ban. The bans on Halo itself were pretty gnarly as well. I had a few friends that got Ultra banned for 2 weeks which disables you from using online in any and all capacities. You cant even play custom games or invite people to watch some shit in theater mode.
In all honesty though, this farming exploit is pretty useless. I mean look at that screen shot. You’re getting greens. Those mean nothing by the time you hit Lv15. You’ll be scrapping them on sight for resources. But in true bungie fashion, expect that cave to be covered up with a giant sign that says “LOL NOPE!” when they patch it.
I think you guys are forgetting that this is supposed to be an MMO… Shit like this isn’t uncommon at all in these types of games. What type of MMO punishes you for farming?
A war broke out between the Fallen and the Hive as I was farming that spot a little while ago… When I say “war,” I mean all-out WAR. There were Knights, Wizards, Hollowed Knights, Cursed Thralls… Everything. There were multiples of each all over that area all at the same, and they were spawning rapidly. I don’t know what I got caught in the middle of, but it was ridiculous. Managed to survive, though.
It’s supposed to be a constant scripted fight between the Hive and Fallen. The path to the loot cave is part of a story mission, but everyone and their mother is farming the cave, so you rarely see the full Hive side. There is also a Warsat public event that happens there which also makes that area pretty hectic.
Its an overreaction from the H1 shotgun that could hit clean from like 50 yards out. Every shotgun they’ve done since then is like another apology for that amazing gun.
haha interesting huh? that would explain the damage decrease I experienced because I remember aiming more on the ps3 version to make sure I hit the mark. pretty backwards though if you ask me
Oh, I see… Normally, I’d notice the basic Hive enemies fighting the Fallen ones, but a message popped up saying “The enemies are advancing on each other,” then all hell broke loose. There were only like 2 other players in the area(who ran when shit got real), so I ended up tanking them for a good amount of time. It was fun…until my Rocket Launcher started doing trivial damage, that is. Decided to mind my business at that point lol.
The Weekly Heroic gives you 3 strange coins, but the reward stops after the first time you do it. You cant farm it for coins. Otherwise ive been getting them off of engrams and the end of crucible games
He should be by the speaker? He moves to different locations.
Unrelated I feel like I am the only person that uses ADS with a shotgun. That is unless the shotgun is semi-auto, but haven’t come across one in this game. Doesn’t help matters that the universal remote shotgun gets a range and damage bonus when ADS, so it suits my play style.
