They need to hotfix this spawn exploit asap. I dont like the fact that people are bypassing the gearing process by cheezing the system. I sorta wana do it only to keep up but i also wana farm my rep like the game intends me to do. Preferably the pvp since its fun. Got to 20 a few days ago but it feels like everyone is 24-26 now i do t see any 20-23 anywhere. Guess ill get my ass carried all over. Except the pvp, people for the most part suck ass at shooters.
If this game is anything like a true MMO, theyāll leave it in and just add a new tier of equipment that you canāt get through those means.
It will pretty much make all other ways of gearing pointless. You can either farm the rep. Or sit there and shoot a mob as it spawns over and over or just idle and make more profit than playing the game as intended?? I doubt it. They have two options tweak the drop rates which would break the game and make it even more boring in terms of rewards. Or slow down the spawn no matter the players position which will make the game boring since the maps are already fairly barren. Idk if they have the tech to remove or lower the drop rates of those mobs that spawn in that manner would probably be the best way to go about it.
That area has a couple different āsetsā of spawns from what Iāve noticedā¦ Thereās one where 3-5 Acolytes spawn, and thereās one where a shitload of Acolytes and Thralls start pouring out. The latter is where the majority of the loot comes from, and I donāt think it ever happened when I went back with Martian. Theyāve likely already fixed it in that caseā¦ Iāll have to check again.
If this is true, youāll still be able to farm it, but it wonāt be nearly as efficient.
legs REALLY dont matter, anyways, most people should have a full set within 2 weeks or so. Whats gonna matter is full sets of exotic gear, which even this way, u likely wonāt see people farming for months.

Really regret buying this game, had some cash laying around and since itās not available on PC, I splashed out and holy shit. This game is dry as fuck.
The initial few hours of the game were stellar, I was absolutely hooked, but even after 1 and a half days I legit donāt even want to play it again, but I donāt want to sell it incase of free patches or something to make the game actually fun.
I know I might get some shit for walking into the Destiny thread and just trashing it, but Iām really let down by this game, it feels like Borderlands but shit.

At least 60 hours in this game so far, and I have yet to be able to acquire ONE actual Legendary piece of gear. Seems kind of obnoxious.
Not yet. Bungie has come out and said that thereās no rush to buy the game at all.
Unless you want to buy the game before they shut down the servers. Activision isnt gonna let something not profitable keep running.
Activision couldnt give a shit about money. They can keep destiny running for two years with a quarter of the profits they make on their annual COD release. Then they still have other games they make money from.

PSA: You can watch some dude farming the Treasure Cave and still see/get loot despite not actually killing stuff. Farming on the moon is still better to me though.
The farming isnt worth it to me. Iām coming up on 27 and if it isnt a Legendary I dont need it at this point. Iām only missing a chest piece and Legendary weapons will fill out on their own.
im guessing you basically cant level up past 24 until you get legendary gear right? ive been sat at 24 for ages now and havent come across any armour with a higher light rating than what i have now.
i probably dont even wanna know how much ive played this game since it came out.
Yeah the highest light rating you can get with a piece of Rare gear is 15. Legendaries start at 18. Without Legendary gear you lock at 24. Good luck upgrading them past 3 times because Ascendant Shards are hard to come by.
