I’ll give it a shot on 360, but IDK how long I’ll last since most of my friends have either moved on to Xbone, or play on PC.
A PC release would get scooped real quick, too bad they seem dead set on sticking to console only.
^There has to be one coming one day. It’s a 10 year journey with Destiny (and I hope it stops right there because whew boy it could overstay it’s welcome after 10 years) so the PC will get in sooner or later.
So I have a few worries when it comes to this game:
- “True” Weapon and Skill variety and…
- Redundant Mission types.
I want some weird weapons like in Mass Effect 3 like sticky grenade pistols and shotguns that shoot fire or Ratchet and Clank levels of unique. As fun as it was to shoot my SMG and special sniper rifle all day there are so standard in every F/TPS ever that it will get boring. And the missions seem like they’ll boil down to killing things. What if we have just a quiet escort mission with no enemy attacks or setting up beacons for something or going on bike races, etc. Anyone else feel the same?
I think they confirmed it will be coming out on PC, check the previous page, someone posted a link where one of the Activision execs said PC is a natural fit for Destiny.

I would start trying to download it from wherever you are if you left your PS4 on standby. What’s weird is that PSN downloads some small 170mbish installer file which when launches opens up the the real download via Bungie but I don’t know if I can put my PSN on standby and come back to it later. It’s like it’s own app for downloading. It’s not moving too slowly though. Hefty ass download though at 10.97gigs.

Sounds like the installer is like the HaloWayPoint app, basically a hub app that will give you quick access to everything related to the franchise.
Yeah, PSN (SEN?) is crawling right now. Trying to access the storefront from my workplace so that it can download before I get home. Probably not going to happen at this rate. Worse now that Furry advised there is a separate installer. Q_Q
