As much as I like the game itself, the story/writing is AWFUL. It’s almost as if Bungie made the world and the gameplay first, showed it to a Halo fanfiction writer and had her write it. It’s pretentious, stale and takes itself way too seriously. Why would they have Dinklage be so dry and uninteresting when Clap Trap exists? Why is the lore of the universe so needlessly obtuse? Bad writing, bad writing bad writing. And this, keep in mind, coming from a man who had no problems with DmC’s writing/plot.
Actually I have two freebies for Bungie. You dont even have to pay me for this and it will keep Destiny feeling more immersive and give us mroe gameplay stuff to do.
-Add Sparrow races to the competitive side.
-Give us open space exploration and spaceship dog fights. You did that one level in Halo Reach with the Sabres. It was even multiplayer in a coop aspect to boot. Just kinda do that again. Give us a reason to buy the extra ships besides aesthetics in load screens. These ships very clearly have guns on them. Let us use em yeah?
Sorry to hear. I’ve had numerous drop instances. It sucks. It’s really random though, I can play crucible on hours on end and if I’m just open up a random chest on the Moon, I get booted. My wired connection is godlike with open ports and everything too.
I’d love space combat levels like they had in Star Wars Battlefront. Just two bases, separated by space. Throw in a mid base for those control game types they already have.
I’m not saying the game is dead by a long shot, but I got burned with Diablo, and I am just wary. Right now the game seems like it wants to be more than it is.

yea no way im gonna be ready for the strike tomorrow. im level 23 now and i dont fancy grinding those few extra levels tbh. im enjoying the game atm i dont wanna ruin it by making it about the grind for better gear.
I didn’t know what I was doing when I opened my ports sometime ago, but I’ll try again. It’s a real piss off that I can sit in orbit til my 360 automatically turns off, but I go to do a mission, jump on my Sparrow, ride around a corner, and all of a sudden, I’m kicked off XBL.
I agree. My buddies were calling my ship ugly and shit and I’m like “The ships do fuck all, so why spend money on them?”
And if guardians can murder each other freely with seemingly little reason other than general disdain, they can do it in space so that they suffocate to death. They don’t have to make the game into Elite: Dangerous or anything, but space exploration could be cool.
just got 19 today as a titan. Striker is feeling good right now, but I’m gonna put serious work on the other subclass soon. Magnet mine makes me happy, and everybody else gets all kinds of butthurt…Or explosions I guess. Does the Crucible give out better/different gear from the planet grinding? If so, I’ll come in. Never liked PVP much anyways, but I can always try.

would be nice if the woman had more variety than the 5 shaders shes had since day 1. i was lucky and managed to get a gilgamesh shader from pvp which looks pretty cool.
Most of those shaders use really boring colors. I’ve only gotten two shaders from PvP. I’ve gotten Bloodpact and Achilles. Achilles and Gilgamesh are the same thing but reversed.
Got a Legendary Bounty line and now I have to find and dismantle 10 epic or better fusion rifles, fuck you Bungie fuck you up your stupid ass. God this is going to take forever.
