has anyone tried going back to the ps3 version after playing ps4? I think the way the game is balanced is different, im shooting people point blank with a shot gun to the head and they’re still alive it takes two shotgun shots on the ps4 version. doors glitch and take a few seconds to open up as well. place is a nightmare
fusion rifle I use similar to the Spartan Laser from the Halo series. Just walk around priming it and letting it go before u get charge, then when u see a dude at a decent range, unleash upon him.
It seems like a shitty weapon right now, but that’s cuz I haven’t found a good one yet.
The only time a fusion rifle has been effective for me so far is for taking down wizards with one of the fire-shooting ones. Burns those fuckers up quick.
I’ve only used a Fusion Rifle once in a game where I was under the recommended level where my sniper wasnt really doing any damage and the area was very close quarters. The Fusion Rifle was called Futile Gesture I think. It was pretty good but I prefer doing 3k damage headshots any day.
Salvage was fucking hilarious on the crucible last night. Me and two friends from high school did a game where the score was 10000-1500. Later on one of them got an error code and me and the other guy pulled 2v3 comeback from a 2000 point deficit and made 2 of the other team rage quit. I fucking love the crucible. I just wish Crucible rep wasnt so hard to earn
because they run away like the cowards that they are.
the ps4 version is nice and clear, easy to see a helmet popping out of cover. the ps3 version is dodgy because theres just so much to the game that they have to save processing power by merging the colours together making you have to operate by chance instead of reaction.
People seem to forget that different shotguns have different ranges and bullet spread.
So while one may kill you in one shot from a certain distance, it makes complete sense that another shotgun could take two shots from the same distance.
is there a difference between weapon levels? Like, if I am in PvP and using a level 18 shotgun, is it better than a level 15 shotgun?
What about the level 20 stuff?
And I just played a game against a dude who literally annihilated all of us with a fusion rifle. It seems to act similar to a longer range shotgun, and can pierce. Dude was just one shotting our party from a decent distance.
Welp… Time to start leveling a Hunter. I was planning on doing it anyway(I need that cape… I LOVE capes) lol.
Btw… Is creating a new character the same as, say, starting a new save? I know you share Glimmer between characters but, does story progression stay intact?
I’d assume so… Higher level equipment tends to have better stats.
Yea, the Fusion Rifle is a great weapon. Takes heads off lol.
