Just started playing this again yesterday. Currently at 321 light. What’s the best way to get my light higher to get back into the endgame stuff? I’ve already done the CoE, but rewards weren’t amazing.

Crota’s End will only give you old rewards with the old light cap.

Your best bets are, nightfalls, prison of elders challenge, iron banner, the kings fall raid.
But more importantly keep using 3 of coins for any activity (crucible, nightfalls, raids, strikes) every time that you kill a ultra you will have the chance of getting an exotic engram (sometimes 2 at the same time).
They will always give you stuff with at least 1 level above your current light, usually 2 levels and sometimes 3 levels above.
Also do a lot of activities and bounties so you can level up you factions levels, their packages also give you stuff with high level light up to 330.

I’m 330 LL, ALL of my friends have stopped playing so I’ve yet to do any raiding since the light increase but from what I hear Hard Raid is the best for 335 LL gear.

At this point I only do CoE and level up my faction rep to get good gear.

Thanks guys, I did mean the prison challenge. Seems much easier to gain in LL now than it was in January when I stopped. Got 2 levels in 3 weeks of HM KF before, 6 in a couple days now.

Yeah, infusing things are straight across the board now, instead of just a percentage of the higher light value. Makes it much less frustrating to level up.

COE is easiest with the void warlock this week… near infinite grenade spam ftw… the points i had after each round was ridiculous.

weapons wise i was running: grasp with grenadier, iron wreath (sidearm) and raze lighter.

I was running nothing manacles on my voidwalker with Max discipline, can’t check that video but I imagine it’s something similar. Great fun and got tons of points.

Grasp of Malok. I stand by it as one the best PvP weapons in the game. It fires so fast and so accurately that you can counter snipers by simply removing their option of aiming at you. It doesnt have high caliber rounds but it hits so fast that it’s better than that. Their scope shakes like a motherfucker as long as you have good aim.

That gun alone is half the reason I’m not restarting Destiny on PS4.
