Also it night be technical limitations but got back on 360 to play Destiny last night after like 3 months and this game is slooooooooowwwwwww as fuck. I felt like I was fighting every Crucible match in bullet time.
Lol, have you played the new DOOM recently? Because I had the same experience coming from that game back to Destiny.
Yeah I hopped on Mayhem Crucible the other day with a buddy of mine after having not played for…probably a good 4 or 5 months at the very least. We got utterly fucking shit on. What made it worse is that I’ve been habitually playing Overwatch, Doom and Call of Duty so I had NO sense of what to do when I started playing. Idk if it was just because we were so far behind in the meta or we just suck at PvP now, but man that was rough. Think we only got one or two kills in the midst of the chaos.
I also got to try one of the end-game parts of King’s Fall yesterday. Can’t believe I haven’t even tried it until now. Seems like a pretty fun raid, I’d really like to try and beat it with a team today. I tried to complete it with these randoms and we kept wiping for 2 and a half hours, and of course the first time we get the run PERFECT Oryx starts glitching and we can’t deal any damage to him. Eventually leading to another wipe. Fucking bullshit.
Also, can anyone tell me where to get these two things from? Because I pretty much need them in my life.

Touch of Malice. That gun is great for the Whore-Ex fight. I think Eris starts the quest for it, and you have to do a bunch if bullshit like collect Calcified Fragments (Flintstones vitamins) and kill some fucks in a couple strikes.
The other thing is a pumpkin head. You’ll probably get one on Halloween.

Yes the pumpkin head is from haloween content… head doesnt last long.
Patch notes out. Viking funeral has been nerfed, blink “nerfed” again, hunter changes, solar Titans receive slight buff, doctrine archetype 6% damage nerf (I think they should’ve killed the range. The damage seemed fine to me), handcannons recieve range nerf (yes…kill the last word please) but are more consistent when firing.

Just started playing this again yesterday. Currently at 321 light. What’s the best way to get my light higher to get back into the endgame stuff? I’ve already done the CoE, but rewards weren’t amazing.
Hard Raid is probably your best bet for getting high level gear to infuse.
Cool, thanks. Did it a bunch before the April patch but my group stopped playing.
You can level up fast via crucible and using 3oC, run CoE for high light packages from variks and Kings Fall. Since the latest patch, 100% of my leveling has been done through playing the crucible.
Crota’s End will only give you old rewards with the old light cap.
Your best bets are, nightfalls, prison of elders challenge, iron banner, the kings fall raid.
But more importantly keep using 3 of coins for any activity (crucible, nightfalls, raids, strikes) every time that you kill a ultra you will have the chance of getting an exotic engram (sometimes 2 at the same time).
They will always give you stuff with at least 1 level above your current light, usually 2 levels and sometimes 3 levels above.
Also do a lot of activities and bounties so you can level up you factions levels, their packages also give you stuff with high level light up to 330.
