FINALLY beat Oryx on hard tonight! Haven’t been playing much the last few months because of Mario and now Xenoblade, but decided to jump on tonight and finally took that asshole down with the stupid 16 bomb challenge. That guy’s fuckhead.
Nice. I want to try the Challenge mode! I beat Oryx on HM last week using the no knight tactic. Crota was much harder in terms of going from NM to HM. Oryx isn’t bad at all.
I very rarely rage at a game like I did trying to finish the SRL quest last night. Neighbors must have thought a gf was breaking up with me over the phone.

And I’m pretty sure you can tie each line to a specific moment that happens in this faux-racing ass, busted track, punish you for driving well, random crash, stupid geometry, nonsensical slowdown, unclear landing physics, poorly placed booster, two track having racing mode.
I got my shader, Holiday. Fuck you and your racing league. Get a man yo lonely ass.
I think I did that entire quest in like an hour.
Got my stillpiercer yesterday and that thing is pretty fucking good. Been ripping people apart in trials with it

Yeah i felt the same way all last night. Seriously i pulled a first from way out in the boonies to get my SRL S license. Man i’m glad i live alone at the moment because my cats were looking at me like “WTH is his problem?”
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I swear that damn thing FIGHTS to keep me from winning. I remember one where I bounced (Yes. BOUNCED) My speeder for over 20 seconds. Really shoulda just ended it then. Ironically, the worst part to me is getting pushed out of whatever position I’m in. I can’t ever seen to push someone else over, or even hold my space when they try it. What is the big difference?
Right now though, I cannot believe how badly I’m doing in the Fear’s Embrace Timed mission. :wtf: It’s like everything I do is wrong in that one. I’m thinking the only answer remaining is to overpower the whole stage, but I have to control the crowd while doing it. Not sure if we can gang up on this one, but if any of you are doing that part, I’ll jump in to help too.

I find it very hard to do Fear’s Embrace solo. Definitely a partner or a team for that.
Spent hours doing the paradox mission solo and finally pulled it off. Felt really good to pull of that sucker with some skill and thinking into it. Now to try black spindle and give that a go.
You won’t solo black spindle unless you really build intellect and armor. You want a supercell in that last room. 3 people can barely tackle all the ads in that fucking place on top of killing the boss.
I’m on for anybody needing the fear’s embrace feat.

Finally finished S class today on a pure fluke to be honest. I don’t know how all those people crashed at the same spot, but fuck it!! Ran over the corpses and hit the finish line like I was in NASCAR trying to take the series. The bike I got? Not worth SHIT!!! :mad: Outside of crushing armor for cash and light, I haven’t gotten anything from the races except headaches and cursing-at-my-tv practice. :tdown: I’ll try to get on during the day tomorrow for those of you trying to get fear’s embrace done.

Go to the last room and got totaled by adds with a fireteam. Cried myself to sleep last night.
Yeah. I think it’s gonna have to be double supercell in that thing. I watched part of a guy’s run and it was just as you said. Gangbanged in about 30 seconds from what I saw of it.
I’m starting to wonder if your light levels even mean anything now. 301 and I don’t feel any better than I was at 201. I actually ran up on some enemies in the racing gear and to be honest, I did about the same. I know that stat boosts are far better on the normal armor, but meh. Somebody got stabbed in the back by me looking like a bootleg speed racer. Fuck yo’ couch!!!

Light level tends to matter more when you are underleveled in pve content, being overleveled grants minimal bonuses compared to the penalties for being too low. 300-310 is enough for almost everything, 310-315+ really only matters for Oryx and avoiding minor situational disadvantages in trials or iron banner.
Cool. I guess my eyes and brain weren’t off by much then. :tup:
I should’ve mentioned this yesterday, but it looks like Ol’ weedface got into the spirit of giving as well. He pulled a reverse grinch and brought back the Armamentarium, which I immediately bought and began to level up. One extra bomb means a lot in some of those spaces. Gonna have fun teaching those fucking bastards why I liked that piece so much.

I really hope the Banner weapon isn’t Deidris’s Retort. I’ve been enjoying my unfair advantage in the shotgun game. Honestly the only reason that shotguns havent been nerfed even more is because basically nobody has that thing. It’s better than Conspiracy Theory and Silence of Aarn with a good roll.
