So… I reached level 20… Now I’m getting the lights to level up beyond 20. And I haven’t got to the end of the story.

From what i have read of Phogot i think that will wait until i get at level 12 at least an try to do it with a team.
Do it with 3 people if you can.
EDIT: I just had my first random event and let me tell you, you wont miss it when one is going down. I was on the Moon when it happened and it seemed like I was on the dark side of the moon for a second. Most light just vanished and a Reaver Captain appeared. This shit cant be done by one person. His shield recharge before you reload. He needs to be under constant fire. Add on top of that the fact that the fucker is constantly runnign while shooting. He got away. Next time will be a different story

I now like to imagine I have a short man following me around talking to me and shining a flashlight at shit. Just walking around not giving a fuck about bullets.
I would get this game just to join the SRK clan but I suck in FPS and I dont want to play unless I can just troll on the mic and steamroll XP just dancing around in the background until I level up.

I’m level 11. I did the level 8 strike mission last night.
Holy shit, what is it with people not even being aware of whats going on in the game? The first time I tried it at level 9, it took 10 minutes for my other 2 party members to even find the entrance, they were too busy going around shooting random enemies… Did you not join a Strike Mission to do the damn fight? Ended up trying to 2 man it and dying, then the other dude left.
So I go back at level 11, and try it again. Literally, one of my party members didnt make it to the mission until we were in the middle of clearing the third raid. Thats how long it took him to fight enemies and make it into the base. Fucking hell.
And he spent half the fights going afk.
Anyway leveling slowed quite a bit. Im just shy of level 12; I did get a blue helmet though which is nice. I feel underleveled for doing story missions, I dont really care for PVP, and the bounties Im stuck with suck ass. Need to get over this mid game hump.
Gonna hit 20 when I get back home from work today. Only 3 more levels and then I can start over leveling.
How exactly do the subclasses work? I’ve unlocked the Warlock’s but none of the abilities in it are unlocking even though I’ve leveled up since getting it.
Damn, I want this game but only have a PS3. I was gonna hold out on a PS4 until next year, but this could put me over the edge.
Does anyone have it for PS3? What are your thoughts on that version? If it’s good I might pick it up and still wait on PS4.

You have to equip it and play as that subclass, and level up those skills from scratch
Apparently once you hit level 15, it unlocks all subclasses on all classes for all characters. So you could, for instance, start a new character of a class you dont have and go straight to the subclass of it, which is cool
I suck at most shooters, and I mostly bought the game to play with friends. However, I was able to tackle the first couple of levels alone. It’s a challenging game, so far, but not some Halo Legendary difficulty or anything like that.

i only played the beta but this isn’t the type of game where if you suck at shooters, you’ll suck at (does that make sense?). The aiming is relatively simple to me, though headshots do count but you can probably get the hang of it soon enough.
Get some friends of course to play this game though. I cant imagine playing Strikes on Hard/Legend or Raids. Especially once Raids come out because you get absolutely zero guidance and you have to figure everything out on your own I believe
PS4 Question: from the game can i go to a screen to add a friend or do i have to come out completely?

Oh, here go all the way into the academy area to get a mission. The mission, destroy shankers… which dont spawn in the area. Walk your ass back across the entire map to where theres only 1 spawn of them, and camp it out.
Ok, now go back for another mission across the map. Oh, scout this area even further across the map? Sure.
I was doing a stupid bounty that was earn 9,000 xp without dying. Im 8000 XP in. Mission says, “Go here and scan this artifact.” Sure. I do it.
except for it took me into endgame territory, and there was a yellow level 24 mob guarding it that one shot me.
