You need to complete the Dread patrol mission, the one that Cayde gives you where you are planting vanguard beacons around the dreadnaught.

EDIT: First attempt. Made it to the double rune door before I died. That alone set me back far enough to not get to the door in time. A good shotgun is a must have for this btw. Makes taking care of the Taken Knights way faster.
I can confirm Black spindle drops at 310 light. The last room needs to be completely cleared of enemies for completion, even if you kill the boss. Full fireteam highly recommended
I got the spiritual successor to the Fate Bringer. It’s called the Ace of Spades. The part that will piss some people off though, only Hunters can use it.
Wasted almost half a day on the Daily Heroic. Gave up after killing the boss but there was an ARMY of Taken.
I’m pretty sad about ace of spades, but I use all 3 classes so at least I’ll have something to look forward to on my hunter, it’s usually my least favorite class to play. So far I just have the Titan auto rifle, and it’s decidedly mediocre. It sounds cool though.
The dead orbit scout rifle is great, almost identical stats as vision of confluence with even better stability and firefly, with just 3 fewer bullets in the magazine. Best 150 marks I have ever spent in destiny by far.
Rumors say that the Bs being 310 is a glitch and it would be patched into 290.
Can anyone confirm if the BS mission is available outside the Daily Mission?
From what I’ve read, the fastest strategy is to place a Titan bubble with Blessing of Light on the platform with the boss, then kill him with swords. Then kill the black orbs in the room and then mop up the adds. If you have a blind bubble, you can blind the adds then clean up with swords.
Also, when the boss is tethered by the Nightstalker, he does not throw those blinding orbs.
