Lmfao at 820 Gjallarhorn kills. When everyone was pining for and coveting it, I was being part of the reason it got nerfed. Longest crucible kill distance is 145m, apparently in the top 5% of everyone whoās ever played Destiny.

Played for a little last night. Already got to level 39, lmao.
They just unload a fuckload of great gear on you right off the bat. My light level went from 160 to 189 pretty quick. Also got Hard Light from a fucking green engram. My buddy got a Hawkmoon.
First few missions are fucking dope. I canāt wait to play more once I get home.
Download acts weird, the progress bar doesnāt even look like itās started the DL but it has.
Did the Veteranās Tour quest, got Hawkmoon from the green engram (everyone gets an exotic from that specific one). Getting to 40 seems like itāll be pretty easy. I got to 37 and change just by turning in the bounties I had stashed.
As for anyone who pre-ordered, thereās a bit of controversy concerning the Suros weapons. Some believe theyāre only the green ones the Vanguard QM has for sale. I THINK that any Suros foundry weapon is part of the pre-order deal. Meaning that those who didnāt pre-order wonāt be able to get any Suros foundry weapon until January. I donāt know this for fact, just the way Iām interpreting things.
I got the Hawkmoon from the Veteranās Tour. A good start to the Taken King for me. I waited a year for it and it drops day one :o
I think the suros pack is what the quatermaster is selling. It was the same with the Vanguard pack when Destiny first came out.

What the fuck is with these compatibility packs and why are they all so fucking massive? I though when I picked this game up today I would download the expansions and an update. No. Iāve been sitting here downloading 2GB compatibility packs for like that last 3 fucking hours. Why?
Little trick to make the DLs go faster, works for me on PS4. Just restart the system.
Up to the ninth mission on the campaign and itās been enjoyable so far. Missions arenāt much different overall, but the dialogue, setup, etc goes a really long way in giving you the feeling youāre playing out the story instead of doing missions chained together.
Thereās also callbacks to lore and loot youāve collected, finally making a connection to the story and things we do in the game.
Iām in no rush to finish, so Iām done for the night. Sitting a 39.5 right now. Overall Iām enjoying myself.
This is a massive fucking improvement. Itās good in ways only people who swam thru Year 1 would appreciate. When the next expansion (Vex themed, I believe) drops, for the first time in a long time it only really needs to expand missions, endgame, and add weapons. Thereās little design gaffs to address now. It just works.
The grind is real, tho. Once again. They are not giving away Legendary Marks.
Finally got a sword. This shit absolutely wrecks in PvP, and I havenāt even unlocked the guard ability.

Legendary Marks are broken from what Iāve read. Theyāre supposed to drop 10 at a time after a completed Legendary Heroic strike.
It seems that there is a weekly cap of only 30 per week, per account btw, not character like it used to be.
