Not only will I not give Crapcon any money for DLC, I will not give them any money ever, ever, ever again, period.
It looks like the blowback has ended any plans for 2I/NG stage DLC. I think everyone was expecting an announcement in September or even Early/Mid October.
I guess the game didn’t hit a million sales.
If they leave the game in it’s current state I will be fucking pissed. Like seriously, it’s not too late to fix most if not all of the problems if they actually care. None of the things that are wrong with this game are unfixable.
Maybe they’ll release another color pack instead.
I don’t even wanna play this locally anymore.

Should come as no surprise. You can’t release such a sub par glitchy version of the game and expect people to buy it in the millions. Word of mouth gets around and people know the game is sub par and the support consists of trying to sell us worthless color packs.

Me too, but i really think the game has make good sales (good promotion on PSN, also on XBL and very good buzz remember all these people says “fuck sf4, i gonna play third strike”) ah ah ah, it’s funny.
Lol like anybody important plays anything besides SF4 and MvC3. Like, if you like playing old dead games you can play them, but as for me and my top level skill I need to go where the competition is, because I am clearly the next Daigo Wong, and need to make a living off this.
I have an idea. We should all pool our money and buy a city and dedicate it to nothing but 3rd strike. 3rd strike will be the religon there too and Derek Neal will be satan. All the food will be 3rd strike themed as will the housing. That way every body can be happy.

That’s just an apples/oranges question that’s been done to death repeatedly. But if you’re talking about the quality in porting, then yes, SF4 shits all over Online Edition.
But that’s not really a fair comparison either, considering 4 has had so much support for it with aggressive advertising and mainstream publicity. All OE got was like two or so trailers, followed by two people, a guy who hates 3rd Strike and a Blazblue player, talk about how awesome OE’s gonna be.
The only thing that’s kept 3S alive for so long is community support. The community(meaning the arcade players) hates Online Edition, so that game isn’t going to last. There’s going to be no support at Evo either, and those guys wouldn’t give a shit anyway.
I’ll be honest, I’m eating a lot of crow here. Few months back I talked about how big this could possibly be, and 3S could possibly get a huge revival. Everything was looking really good, but then as we see more and more new information I start getting a bit disillusioned. But GGPO is gonna be on a current-gen console now with the original source code for 3S, so it has to work better! Well, here we are now. I wanna say I feel like an idiot for getting my hopes up so much, but there were a lot of promises that they didn’t, or couldn’t keep.
This shit is frustrating.
Yeah I feel like an ass for getting my hopes up. I really thought I’d be getting “99% arcade perfect” 3S and instead we get this abomination of a port.
Capcom took my money and ran this year, I should have learned my lesson after marvel 3 was so bad. I guess I’m like everyone else who was taken in by the promises of a great new-gen ode to my favorite game. At least I’ve learned my lesson now.

Only other game I’m putting any work into at the moment is KOF13.
KOF 13 is working out to be a fun learning experience.
Can’t wait until a really high-level player shows up to teach me how it’s supposed to be played

Meh, just play whatever you want. There’s a lot of games I hate out there these days, but that doesn’t mean the players themselves are horrible people(Smash may be an exception, and even then I have good friends who are in the Brawl scene).
at the very least. 3s is planted in peoples heads that wouldnt have access before.
for the 100 scrubs you’re playing, theres like 5 heads that are learning this masterpiece. even if it is a knockoff.
