Demul with netplay released (CVS2, GGXX, MVC2 etc.)

okay ill upload it on mediafire or something… under config -> game pad under global / hot keys you need to set the test menu button and also a service menu button. once you’ve set that, when you load a game you can go into the test menu.

edit: here you go, here are my cvs2 nvram files with freeplay set

Aquashark you wanna get some games in?

Tutorial’s up: http://shoryuken.com/f215/demul-netplay-tutorial-250920/

That is the one where it is fucked up.

The legacy one gets me hovering around 50 fps.

I’m having trouble getting anything to run. Well, CVS2 is the ony thing i’m trying to run and i keep getting the same error message of “Unable to find ‘epr-21576d.bin’ in romset ‘naomi’” just as VR-Raiden was. I do have “epr-21576d.bin” so i honestly have no clue what to do from here. Any help would be appreciated as i’ve been looking into things for a few hours but with no luck at all. I have extracted the bios as well as the CVS2 rom to Demul/roms. Only thing i can think of would be having the “wrong file” as Nocturnal posted in response earlier.

Guys, the new versions of netblade are messed up and desync. Stick with 0.38 until a fixed version is out. The download link is in my tutorial.

run with that. Need to find another CvS2 rom

Yeah i’ve been running with that for the past few hours, trying to look into obtaining another but no luck on anything that works. If you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction via pm or something of that nature i would appreciate it a lot. thanks in advance.

^Yeah PM it to me as well. Google is being worthless again.

am i the only one gettign this message when trying to start guilty gear with netplay on. [NET] LoadLibrary( “kaillerclient.dll” ) failed.
Afterwards the game starts up

you need to put kailleraclient.dll in the main demul folder… yours is probably in the plugin folder.

yeah you right thanks it works now

Added that problem to the FAQs section of my tutorial. :stuck_out_tongue:

Pm sent to some of ya. Need anymore help let me know ok.Also new net-blade out:http://www.emuhq.com/utilities/plugins/dreamcast-and-naomi-plugins/netblade/news/2010/09/12/14387

  • fixed saving of plugin’s .ini file, now it’s saved in plugins directory as it should be;
  • added “Override emulator name” setting which allows to bypass kaillera server’s restrictions;
  • fixed crashes at the end of the netplay.

In my experience with multiple games over LAN and otherwise, I have come to the conclusion that any net blade above 0.38 will desync very badly. My friend and I tested all of the versions over several LAN games, and found out that 0.38 is the only one that is playable at this point. I’m not entirely sure why the others desync, but I know for a fact that it happens.

Needs more 64 bit emulator in here. I hate programs that don’t use my hardware to it’s fullest.

9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???9898???

ooops

Nobody is playing online.

And the only 2D fighter that seems to be closest to being completely emulated is CvS2. The rest are buggy with sound and graphic glitches. Although I havn’t tried GGXX Accent Core but I assume it has the same problems as the others.

I dunno, MvC2 and CvS2 both ran near perfect for me.

No all ggxx games run fine the only ASW game that runs a little wonky is HNK and, that just messed up life bars (you can’t tell what is part is healing and the regular health).
