Demul with netplay released (CVS2, GGXX, MVC2 etc.)

Let’s get some games sometime man!!

:woot:

I keep getting the create pbuffer error anyone know how to fix this error?

Not really sure what "create pbuffer error " means, but I had that same error when I tried to set it up.

The things I remember I had to do before making it work were:

-Direct X (Must be up to date)
-Correct Cvs2 Rom
-Have all the Bios in place
-Have the video plug ins, sound, netblade, etc… in the correct folder

Make sure all the paths are in the right folders too. Also, don’t put your other emulators in the same place with this Demul because sometimes it will use the “Kaillera” these emulators have, and you won’t be able to connect P2P, use the appropriate one that comes with Demul, or that is designed for Demul.

There is a great tutorial outhere (on this forum).

Hopefully that helps a little :frowning: :wonder:

pbuffer has failed

uanable to load netplay , this is what I see when I try to play and I just just downloaded too and not working any help :frowning:

It works but is really really slow for me is that the delay

i think the pbuffer problem is caused by an integrated video card. There is no fix that I saw.

How in the world do you register on that emuhq site?
Also where would I be getting the kailera dll?

I think I got it up and running. I was playing Hokuto no Ken and it runs like a dream on my pc at about 60-62 frames/second. BTW, I have Windows 7-64bit Ultimate Edition, 8 gigs of RAM, AMD Phenom X2 Black Edition Dual Core 3.1 ghz processor and a BFG Geforce GTX 275.

I am having trouble loading DC roms and NAOMI roms. For NAOMI roms, When I try to start Melty Blood and Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper, I get the message “Unable to find X.x in x.x romset”.

In addition, I am not sure how to run DC titles at all.

But, I can get the Atomiswave roms to run no problem.

Can I get some help please?

Ok, I can now get NAOMI games to run.

But Dreamcast games can’t run. I load the file, DC logo comes in and that’s it.

Alright, I’m trying to play some CVS2 & Hnk. Send me a message if you wanna play.

Has the MBAA naomi rom been dumped?

I haven’t seen anything yet for it. BTW, is your avatar Ryosuke Takahashi from Initial D?

Yes, that is correct.

I got confirmation of KOFXI and NGBC arcade versions working on W.I.P. version of Demul (currently in production)

yes and it works

great news Black Shroud

Does Hokuto no ken run online without desync? anyone have a review? Ive tried it at a friends house because my PC sucks and cant run it… but i wanted to know if its online play with HnK is reliable

Im gonna say that currently KOFXI and NGBC run slower than usual, although I hope their emulation can be optimized. Against GGAC’s 60 fps, KOFXI would jump between roughly 30~50 fps and NGBC between 20~40 fps. Its because those games utilize 3d-based backdrops or something, that results in big quantity of small textures being displayed at same time each frame, which slows the emulation. There are almost none graphic glitches it seems (minor ones in select screen/continue screen HUDs). Right now these games look better with sound off, because of sound lags. Since SS6 is relatively the same in construction (lowres 2D sprites, highres backdrops which utilize 3D), Im expecting it to run relatively the same as mentioned 2 games.

Greetings dude.My friend just bought a new pc and we can play all naomi games wonderfully. We have some issues playing hokuto no ken online, framerate drops below 30.But if we play it online the framerate is perfect.Any hints? If we try to change plugins the game crashes after the warning screen.

Could someone explain how to set this up for those of us that are computer retarded? I downloaded demul but when I try to access it a message pops up saying BIOS and plugins not confirmed. I have no idea what a BIOS is or how to confirm a plugin. The demul site seems to go out of it’s way to not help those of us who are without an esoteric knowledge of computers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Demul needs to support Initial D Arcade Stage ver.3 already.
