You can warp to any bonfire that you’ve lit that isn’t a primal bonfire.
Can we keep talking about Mundane because this is hella interesting. I’ve got a Drangelic Greatsword+2 as my main sword in the game (it just works so well!) and so what I’m gathering from what you all are saying is that by applying Mundane to it I can make it even more stronger than just upgrading the sword normally?
Does anyone else find the Estoc to be a steaming pile of sh*t in this one?
I used it in DS1 and was planning to use it again in this one but i tend to like the Rapier better, it’s faster & hits harder.
Anybody know how to permanently enchant a weapon with magic? And can you enchant a boss soul weapon after you upgrade it?
I’ve been running around swinging this flame shortsword I found in the forest section for 30+ hours now. Its +8 I think and hits single handed for about 180 p/swing. I need something better!
Thanking you kindly sir! I don’t think I have possession of either of those swords so I will keep an eye out for those. I think I’m playing the game pretty well as far as moving through areas is concerned but I hit a particularly tough spot this evening that resulted in me turning off the PS3 in disgust! [details=Spoiler]Boss in Earthen Peak? Fight takes place in a cesspool[/details]
Focusing on finding a new weapon feels a lot better than the thought of me playing the game much better. I don’t think I can play it much better!
Just turned lvl 20 after re-rolling 4x. The game is just as brutal as I remember it from the original Demon’s Soul. Besides the graphic glitches every now and then, game is awesome!
Rant time: I should have learned my lesson of visiting bonefires. Lost 35k of souls farming that giant boss is just ughh…
How to enchant weapons with magic/fire/lightning ect…

You have to get the dull ember from the Iron Keep. It’s located on a broken stairway just below an archer knight. The broken stairway is to your right just as you enter the first big outdoor area with the big pit of lava below you and the large drawbridge. To get to that room from the first bonfire you will run across the bridge, fight two knights and then go inside the keep. From there you will be in a room with a horse statue breathing fire and two more knights. After killing the knights you’ll proceed up some stairs to a room with three knights, one of which is perched on a little ledge shooting arrows. Then that room will lead to the big outdoor area where the dull ember is at. It will be on the broken staircase to your right, below an annoying archer knight. Bring the ember to the blacksmith in the Lost Bastille. Hope that helps, sorry if my directions suck.
omg the Moon light great sword. Ok after watching Brandons stream, all you have to do is 1 attack from anything from this sword and its stun locks people and then finish them with a combo they die lol. Though the sword is only in NG+ after you kill the Duke where ever the fuck that is.
After you kill npcs, talk to the old bitch and she sells their armor. If you trade the petrified something to the birds they give you the best whip in the game, the old whip which does like 200+ something damage at level 1
Wat.
Dark souls 2 is stacked against invaders.
There is even an item now that makes enemies target invaders so we dont need to make it even more stacked stowards them by having the enemies target them all the time.
think the reason is cause people would get the most op level 50 gear as they could, then go invade noobs and kill them in like 2 hits. Aka hornet ring. Now you have to work to kill even noobs at this game.
If you watch streams, some people all they do is invade at SL50 and kill players in like 1-2 hits with hornet ring. They’ll even kill all 3 gankers in 1 shot.
Its so easy to kill noobs at SL50, all you have to do is know what you are doing like getting the gold tracer, dark magic or wrath of the gods or some other bs and just own noobs that have no idea what to do
