Gonna jack up strength for the Greatswords cause I can’t go wrong with the bastard sword. But I do promarily wanna run Cesti gloves. Good or bad input to offer, anyone?

Where is Iron Keep? I feel like I’ve already explored almost every corner. Is it past the Brightstone Cove? That place and Doors of Pharros are the only places I haven’t beaten the boss yet, but they both feel like the end of the line for their respective dungeons…

Are you talking about that “contraption that won’t move”? There’s an area past it? I’m at a point where I feel like the Black Gulch is my only way to go without a Branch of Yore, and I’m not trying to go there yet lol.

What’s up with that area right before the golden skeleton? It has a single flame there… Am I supposed to light it somehow?
ya its not really a secret, but its best to keep talking to npcs over and over to see if they move somewhere else same as dark souls 1. I want to beat the game again, I skipped a few parts.
Seems like dark souls 1 still has a lot better combat. Few times I did PVP in the rat cave, it just felt random
the really big issue with PvP is lag, there are some crazy getting hit when you clearly shouldn’t have scenarios going on thanks to it (like standing 3 feet to the left of a thrusting attack…mother fucker got lucky)
i just cheesed it with arrows
a lot of areas you could kind of just cheese with arrows

Got the game yesterday, enjoying it immensely. Still getting used to the combat though, feels very different - more different than. DeS and DaS are, certainly.
Was struggling through the first area with 50% HP, thinking it seemed much harder than the other two games. Then I found out what the Covenant of Champions did. D’oh! 
Got past the first boss and abandoned the covenant. Something to look ‘forward’ to once I’ve got used to the new game, though…
VERY pissed off that the Black Armour edition doesn’t come in a Steelbook, however. I hate Metalpaks so much I’m seriously thinking of swapping it for the normal PS3 case (did the same with Arkham Origins - Metalpaks look so cheap).
Not been invaded yet, though - presumably all the invaders are waiting to load up on end-game gear before they feel ready to take on new players…

Rat King Covenant is a freaking ton of fun, especially if you have a decent strategy. I’ve been poisoning/blowing people up in Pharros Door. Flame Swathe is great here because it has a really big AOE and the water makes it very difficult for invaders to dodge, same for Toxic Mist too.
Maybe the witches or a witch is controlling the “Looking Glass Knight”
Rat King Covenant is a easy way to get pharaoh stones
I think it’s pretty much the only reliable way to get em. “Pharros” btw. Also supposedly the Rank 3 gift for Rat King is Slumbering Dragon Ring, the ring that makes your character silent
i like pharaoh stones better, makes me think they came from egypt
So far ive found out human effigys drop from
Giant golems-un common-fight them before the boss fights with old dragon slayer and dragon rider
dogs- un common
Lizard men in the water- common
It’s only 3k souls to repair the ring that prevents death/hollowing… pretty op!
yes one of my characters has 2 of those rings.
So I got to the area from the beta(which I didn’t play)… Fuck.
Btw, where do you get the armor the swordsman class is wearing in the beta?
