Either that or my character (noah) sucks so bad, that he stands no chance.
I played a dusk player this weekend. Out of 11 games, i won 2 rounds. He can deal damage so easily, counter anything, poke me to death, kill me with long as range stuff. Everything does so much damage and he has so many traps that you cant do anything about. I have to get like, my best combo to do what he does by mashing a 2A or whatever. That, and his air moves have godlike range and priority. His projectile is mad slow, too, and follows you around. Mad good on hit. I’m not even gonna get into how ghey his counters are either.
It’s not that I’m bitter, its more like, it wasn’t even worth playing because the char diff was THAT big. He could do whatever he wanted while I had to play my absolute best to barely scrape away a round.
The dude is better than me at demon bride, but not winning 33 rounds out of 35 rounds worth of better. I was able to read his patterns, cause he was playing completely autopilot, but there just wasn’t anything I could DO about it…
He has a 1 special move solution to all melee/bullet attacks. At far range he can just use his counter attack which cannot be punished and you get hit by it its a shit ton of damage.
Adding to that wall climb ability to SRK, a homing bullet that homes like crazy and cannot be dissipated easily.
He doesn’t need that much antipatiion to play. Its god damn hard where you have to really wait for those little gaps to punish him. Time wrong and you get his stupid SRK.
Damn Rob, you’re making him sound like GGX#RELOAD Eddie. Getting hit by anything sounds like an instant loss. It’s good that you could read his patterns though, just sucks that it sounds like there wasn’t anything possible to do.
It might just be my character tho. Noah is pretty weak. Im sure if i had a godlike character against that guy, it would have been ok (as in, possible to win a match).
Pekomaru is pretty broke, too, and Kuruha has bullshit wakeup, too. It’s not just dusk, but the diff between the top and bottom tiers in this game is pretty big, sadly.
Well. That’s really just her character I guess. Almost everything is safe. I guess if she isn’t into cancelling 5B on block with a projectile then you can pushblock between hits and punish her for that. Haha.
Still think Kuon is better (better pressure bullets, better combo bullets, easier/better combos, better super, better activate combos) but Judge is pretty good. Lots of good turtle/zoning bullets. easy damage.
Is their a PCB kit for this on sale? on coin op express, i see its advertise but they told me they don’t have any in stock and the game still under TBA status for the longest. I want this game and I’m willy to get the board if have too.

There is one for sale on YAJ right now, Y80,000 BIN. Or you can try your luck bidding; bid starts at Y60,000 and there’s three days left. I’d buy it but I doubt there is much of a market for it in NorCal (and I have no interest in playing it).
