i tried Yui and Noah this weekend. Yui is mad easy and has range and damage. Noah is way more of a challenge, but he’s pretty fun too. I just wish i knew more of what to do with him cause Yui feels like EZ mode compared to him. Ill play more matches against people to see which one I like better. I felt like I already peaked with Nina and its like, day 1…lol…
I really want this game in my local arcade…
Yeah people need more bullets. HOWEVER I will say that bullets get pricey fast, and you need spirit to pushblock and homing/graze dash, so maybe people are just saving spirit in this bad economy.
Each attack button (A, B, C) has a different attack when done during a homing dash; since homing is your basic graze action, homing attacks are graze attacks. A is usually a hit that is cancellable and can chain to B/C, B slams in the direction you were moving (usually wall slam, but if you were aimed down and they hit the floor it’ll ground bounce; all of these are techable except on CH), C usually summons your Bride to do some kind of nifty attack.
Also certain specials graze. Dawn (octoarm) shoulder charge, Asuma (firepunch) spin attack, etc.
It started slowing down a few hours after he left lol.
His normals have plenty of range for what they are, imo. Given that he has easy big damage combos off any hit (not in corner, dunno what his corner damage is gonna look like), I think his normals are fine.
Dunno, Noah seems relatively easy to me, hit-confirm 4C to 236C/super is easy damage, tornado EX is good, teleport/EX teleport slam is good. Some good tricks off throw, etc.
Yui is definitely EZ mode. But she’s actually got a bit more depth than I thought after playing her longer. She’s better than my Kureha now. And just yesterday I was getting the most wins with Kureha. Lol.

Also, can I ask what you guys are doing about Dusk’s counter? I can be flying around be on one end of the screen spamming projectiles and the next thing I know I’m eating damage. It’s mad annoying. So far what I’ve come up with is “shoot projectile, FLY HIGHER” and “shoot projectile, block immediately”. In both cases I don’t seem to be able to punish the damn thing so I’m wondering if there’s something better.
Aside from 4C to 236C/super/j.B, what else can I do with him?
I did this nifty thing where I set out an orb in the air instantly before i landed and set out a 2nd orb. I’m thinking that this can be a tech of sorts which can get me orbs without the risk of spending all the recovery time actually putting it out…
Unfortunately I don’t this game is going to see the light of day elsewhere in the United States.

Random string to 5B XX 236A is decent, any knockdown -> orbs is pretty good, setting orb when you get pushblocked is alright depending on the opponent as long as you don’t do it every time against some characters, big tornado is strong, etc.

You can’t really do anything off the wallslam since it’s a regular, techable wallslam.
Ive been doing really good with Noah. The super is a bit weak imo tho, and i like using the bar for EX moves…
So the way I see it, with Noah, use super if it’ll kill them, otherwise save it for EX moves. Just using it anywhere after 4C or whatever doenst really give that much more damage than 236C j.9DB…
