yeah you can choose what ever way you want.
Joon calls it the unhitable or something like that.
It comes down to them jumping in you blocking and at that point the user can choose to go behind you or in front of you I believe.
Try it out you can block any way you want.

well actually he said, if j.lk done early it can be block at any direction… but he said that at the same jump arc/time/spacing… ken can use other jumping attacks to crossup or fake crossup… also said that j.lk can proper crossup and land behind in the corner!

I’m at work and can’t watch the vids right now, but i’m assuming he’s just throwing it out within footsie range buffering in SA. About 2 months ago i started using it because i’ve been having trouble fighting against Lud’s chun and it’s her only move that cleanly beats chun’s far s.fierce and s.strong iirc. If you happen to catch chun throwing those moves out you get a free combo into knock down, which gets you right on top of her.
It works vs boxer too, since it allows you to stop rush punches that your c.mk can’t catch.

Lol. Cammy mirror is my favorite. Its how I wish the game as a whole was played. More or less.
Having to play players/characters who are defensive really turns me off.
