While both are flash kick as far as the charge motion the button input is different for them, headstomp is kick and DR is punch with another punch in the air for the flip. Empty DR which I’ll do sometimes is a DR without the second punch input in the air.
I am sure most of you knew this already but there are those who don’t understand that they are different moves altogether, a lot of people I come across still think that its all the headstomp input and that I just somehow decide in mid air to DR instead of stomp.

good shit, is that using the input priority of cr. lk > buffer ultra motion > 3 kicks. where if the first lk hits it will chain to a second lk but if it whiffs ultra?

i tried that as well, maybe im just fucking up the timing…iim doin it the same as the hk strike crossup (peak of the jump)…is it earlier?
The reason why you’re not able to do it is because Ryu can’t neutral stand, he has to block or crouch to get hit by the ex CS. It’s kinda weird… I’ll have to test it at the ranbats tomorrow… lol
