Delta Red Basic Training: Moves, attributes, and combos

This is very nice Spektrum, and thank you for this again. I didn’t even know about the 7 hit combo that starts with Cr. Hp and ends with HSA. Greatly appreciated!

Great stuff. Didn’t know about the meaty cr.hp into U1.

Are you leaving out the normal move cancels into the super? I guess they’re technically not combos but cl stand fierce into super is one of my faves after a damage scaled stun

^ cl.st.HP xx HSA xx Super is better since it does more damage, even after a damage scaled stun. I did a bunch of testing and posted the results somewhere in the combo thread.

This was helpful. I probably won’t remember it all, but it helped. I learned a lot of this watching others play. Reading it out helps me process it better.

i just picked up Cammy myself and she feels really natural to me. I’m actually surprised with how well im playing her atm. Awesome guide dude these combos are really useful thanks.

I’m not really sure this is worth mentioning but on the first page it says that Ultra 1 passes through projectiles. I don’t think that’s entirely true. It’s a common misconception that U1 beats projectiles. The only reason you can go through (not under) projectiles is because of the first 10 invincible frames. (in effect you can use it against fireballs etc, but the timing is strict.) Only EX spiral arrow and SBF are immune to projectiles.

So if you’re too far away Ultra 1 won’t work against projectiles. Maybe Spektrum can edit this? (if deemed necessary)

Don’t forget to add some 6 hit combos,

Cstrike cr lk, st lk, st lk, cr lk, hk sa, which i think all of her 4 hit light attack combos maybe char specific.

that is why I asked the community to post up any additional combos including damage and stun info they want added. :wink:

I know there are several more combos that are character specific, but just didn’t have the time to add everything.

Regular cstrike can be combo’d intro ultra as well, although the timing is much more strict obviously.
So I guess you can add:
CStrike xx Ultra 1 - Damage = - Full Ultra Animation
EX-CStrike, Cstrike xx Ultra 1 - Damage = - Full Ultra Animation (Not sure if this is ever better than EX-Cstrike xx Ultra; some people might find it easier to hit confirm)

For the damage value, I know that EX-CStrike xx Ultra 1 doesn’t deal exactly the same damage to every character in combos.

You can also add some variations of the BnB:

there should be a section for spiral arrow set ups. Meaty spiral arrow set ups on knockdowns and such.

And thanks to spektrum for remaking this thread because I’ve been wanting to ask about these sako combos and hopefully we can get a complete list of which characters the st.mp, cr.hp, cr.mk xx SA works on. Can anyone help out with this? I’ve seen it done on Abel and Akuma, no idea about anyone else though.

we gotta send a bunch of pm’s to the forum mods, when i wanted a sticky in the ken section a year or so ago all i had to do was pm the mod.
